Well, I may or may not be able to be in the UK for my sister's wedding, depending on how some cunt at homeland security is feeling in a couple weeks. Afterall, since I smoked a joint or two hundred back in college, I'm clearly a threat to national security.

Setting that aside, whether I'm there or not, my future brother in law has hit upon an incredibly brilliant piece of diplomacy and is treating us all to a liverpool game, if we can somehow get tickets. There will probably be 6 of us in total, which goes to show my dad did his duty in spreading the gospel.

I know it's the first game and all, but anyone have a spare ticket or six? Sunny can vouch for me.

And is there going to be a drinkies of some description?

Shameless bump.

Look, I'll be honest, I don't care if my sisters end up going, or even the new brother in law, but my dad and I are a must, and if somehow we get this idiot to pay for it anyway...

Missed the thead when it was first started.
Pm for you Fark

Alright, what I'm looking for now isn't so much tickets, but someone's best advice on how I can send my future brother in law into Liverpool, and expect that he'll get tickets, get ripped off but not outrageously, and not get scammed.

Any thoughts?

He can them off a tout obviously, i've done it when i've needed to and it worked out okay.

I can see can I snag you some tickets elsewhere but I might be hard trying to organise it from Canada.

You never know, Krump, Sunny or Mark Mc might hear of one or two going spare close to kick off. Perhaps pass your number on to Sean and I'm sure he'll be a star and keep you in mind. I can see this game being very very busy with the new signing etc.

@ The Count, is there any left on the official site. Did ye miss the general sale?

[/quote]Missed the day of sale David.
Pretty much all tickets for all matches were sold out on the day they went on sale.
I had thought that they would have been plenty of availability, at least for the later matches.
Was very lucky to get tickets to the Bolton match for myself and my lad.

Lads sorry to post this here. Just bought tickets for the Valencia friendly.
Can anyone please tell me what happens next? Do they post the tickets to me? Do i have to collect?
And finally, how do i get to anfield from the city centre where i will check in for the evening?
many thanks

Do touts sell tickets for games like this, and if so, what should I tell him to look out for? And what is a typical mark up?

Farky. Will look out for some tickets for you but 1st game if season is hard. Touts will have tickets but expect to pay 70 quid a head and should always be an absolute last option.

Thanks Sunny, yea, I know it's a tough ask, normally I end up going to some shit midweek game and it's no problem. It looks like it's just going to be 4 of us now, and I should be able to go no problem.

If all else fails, I think he's pretty committed to going and will eat the cost of touts, and I'll just refuse and pay for myself so it's not crazy expensive for him. Really nice gesture though. We need to go to liverpool anyway, my Grandad's had a nice long run (99) but it seems it's coming to an end.

Liverpool have a 6-0 record with me at the game. Just saying, people.

What Sunny said. It was oddly easy getting them for the Arse game at the start of last season, but since Kenny came back things have been tougher.

A long shot but Dougie may still have one.

Fark, I dunno if you have got tickets for the match but the offal is still saying that tickets go on general sale tomorrow at 8.15 am via the phone line and website. Ph 0843 170 5555, from 8.15am

They may have just sold out the members allocation and there may still be some availability.
Might be worth a punt mate

tickets on sale right now.
A good bit of availability too at the moment.
Won't last long though I would imagine

Great stuff.
Delighted you got the tickets Fark.
Now let's hope your attendance at the game works in't usual magic
