Did you even read my post Oncy? I was explaining the origin and meaning of the word "negrito", then based the rest of my post on the assumption that he used that word and then talk about the cultural differences. Nothing to do with a postcard of a rumour or whatever.. I think I'm in a decent position to speak about it, given that I study Spanish and the culture of South America, as well as the fact that my dad's Nigerian. So if there was any connotations, in my mind - and believe me, I looked for them - then I would find them. I believe that (if he said "negrito"😉 he didn't say it with any racial connotations. Would I be offended if he said it to me? Sure, I don't feel comfortable when people drop the N bomb when singing along to songs. But I'm trying to understand why he said it, and understand the meaning. I don't trust the FA as far as I could throw them, so I don't get why you're putting so much faith in their verdict. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw out any suggestion of cultural differences and all that.
And if he said anything other than Negrito then I don't know. And if he said N****er or made some sort of racial slur, then fuck him. He's a cunt. But I don't believe he is.
Tommy Smith - now there's a cunt. But Tommy Smith he is not.
He's probably just a bit of a dumb, stupid, naive boy who can't speak the language and doesn't understand what he's done.*
