The Suarez/Evra Racism Row

Apparently none of the Sky footage caught Suarez saying anything that Evra is claiming. If he said it so often you think he'd have been caught once.

The players who were closest to the main incident were De Gea and Kuyt and De Gea said this morning he heard nothing.

Evra fucked me off from the word go yesterday. I thought players were supposed to be booked these days for asking for a card to be shown?
Then he kissed his United badge at the Paddock to further provoke a reaction. He's a complete and utter cunt.

By the way, a lot of United lads i know think he's a major liability now. Gone well off the boil in the last two seasons. Regularly caught out of possession.

Woah. this is more worrying than the Saurez thing, you fraternise with a lot of United lads....tut tut Gary

I don't profess to know any Utd lads. Utd cunts maybe, Utd lads? Not a fucking chance.

I am of course excluding the mindless twats who know nothing about football who say they "support" Utd. These people are below vermin.

Sky today said they have scrutinised match footage and not ONE of the 'ten times' has been found.

United today said Evra is 'going ahead with his case'

Evra on Saturday said, 'I don't want to make a big deal of this' before making a big deal of it.

If it did happen, unless Suarez admits it or it is caught on film then nothing will come of it.

If any other players had heard it then they would have surely said so by now. Even Ferguson's support for Evra seems rather distant.

Obviously there is no way of knowing for sure but I hope and actually suspect that there is nothing in it. Apart from anything else, Evra's reaction during the match would have been pretty restrained to say the least! If someone had abused him 10 times you'd have thought he would have told the ref at least one of those times. He's never struck me as the calm and collected type in the past....

It didn't happen

Sky have already stated today that they have scrutinised the Match Film and nothing is there

He already said the Ref 'knew about it' which the ref obviously didn't so will be found to be another lie, and already one of his team mates has stated that 'He never heared a thing during the match'.

Fergies support from Evra being rather distant couldn't be further from the truth, Fergy went to the Ref with Evra after the match to make it official, and today he has stated they will persue this all the way, despite there being not a shread of evidence

Ferguson had to go with him really. Any manager would do the same thing. And he has said that Evra wants to pursue it all the way, and that it is in the hands of the FA now.

I hate Ferguson as much as anyone but in fairness he is not exactly going to come out and say his own player is lying is he?

FA gags Fergie on Evra case

The FA have silenced Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson over Patrice Evra's racism claims against Liverpool's Luis Suarez.
Ferguson confirmed earlier this week that Evra wished to pursue his allegations against Suarez, made immediately after United's 1-1 Premier League draw at Anfield last Saturday.

The Football Association have now opened their investigation and spoke to Evra on Thursday.

However, for the duration of the case, they have told Ferguson not to speak.

So, whilst Kenny Dalglish was able to confirm Liverpool remain "100% behind" Suarez, the United boss has not been able to offer further thoughts, which is evidently a matter of some irritation.

"The FA interviewed Patrice yesterday and have sent us a directive today saying not to discuss it while the investigation is going on," revealed the Scot.

"I have got plenty to say on the subject but I suppose I will have to adhere to what they are saying.

"I would like to say something about Pat in this particular instance but let them get on with their investigation."

The FA have refused to confirm the latest situation, or how long their investigations will take.

However, it would appear certain they will now ask to speak to Suarez for his version of events before trying to piece together an accurate assessment of what occurred.

Is there any time frame for this getting sorted? Hope to God it doesn't drag on for too long.

Nothing will come of this...

Evra cannot be fined... because there is no proof that it didnt happen.
Suarez cannot be fined... because there is no proof that it did happen.

I dont think it will effect Suarez at all... He is used to being controversial. I think he enjoys it.

I just hope the twat who is lying learns something from this..

Fergie: Let's target Liverpool's talisman and try and derail them.

Prick.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Not that Evra would have needed much encouragement to take part.

He's a Cunt, but i don't think slur would do that

It completely makes a joke of racism and i can't see it

Yeah, in an old person way. But he's been in the game too long for it only to surface now

I doubt the old goat is racist but I also don't think he'd hold back from doing ANYthing which would help maintain their position. It would only have the effect you describe if he were caught on tape or on camera admitting to it, and how likely would that be ever to happen?

I just can't see him turning racism into another piece on his chessboard

Ferguson? I reckon he would use anything as a method to win.

Like Wenger, it isn't about right or wrong, or even a game of chess. He'd back his player's innocence even if they stabbed someone repeatedly in front of him and he was spattered with the gore.

Ya. This is necessary in modern football to keep the dumb jocks on his side! Trust me...i'm not being sarcastic.

Why would he need to keep the Scottish on side?

He also said something about Luis "diving all over the place" last Saturday. Now we all know that Luis has done his fair share of diving but I dont recall much of it, if any, in last weeks match.

Incidentally Ferguson is a cunt of the highest order and Evra isnt far behind him

Where I disagree with you is that word "just". It's both.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish wants a quick conclusion to the dispute between Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra.

The Football Association (FA) are investigating a complaint that Manchester United's Evra was racially abused by Liverpool's Suarez.

Dalglish, 60, said: "We would rather have it done and dusted, out in the open.

"Whoever is the guilty party - the person who said it or the accuser - [should] get their due punishment."

It is alleged that Evra, 30, was racially abused by forward Suarez, 24, during Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Anfield earlier this month.

Dalglish added: "For me, I don't see racism apparent in any way, shape or form as far as this football club is concerned.

"I do not think racism is prevalent in the game here and it certainly isn't at this football club.

"We have got a case going on ourselves which seems to be dragging its feet.

"We look forward to the case coming to a conclusion."

Despite Dalglish urging a quick conclusion, the FA will not be rushed into a decision and have no plans to make an announcement.

The Liverpool manager also highlighted Suarez's off-field qualities.

He said: "Luis has been fantastic and the great thing about him is that he is very unassuming as well.

"Everybody can see what he can do on the pitch - but he has got no edge to him. He doesn't think he is better than anyone else.

"He is a great ambassador for the football club. For us, as well as his football, the other things he brings to the club are very important as well.

"He is just a fantastic person as well as a fantastic footballer."
