Didn't realise it until yesterday but Borell has a reserve crew over here at the moment, they're playing Bray Wanderers tomorrow night - the manager of Bray Wanderers has been letting slip about a surprise being involved. And someone that was speaking to him says Gerrard is going to be here, not sure if that's on the field or not but either way it sounds unlikely.

Anyone going to this game ?

If that is the case they I'd expect Johnson, Reina and Downing to be involved too.

What's the gig on tickets etc Ross.
Might be tempted even though it is a bit out of the way for me.

20 euro a ticket, not sure if they are still available or not but they were on ticketmaster. It might be worth ringing the club if you want tickets.

It's only a Dart journey for you, the station is right beside the ground.

Cheers Ross.

I am pretty busy tomorrow but if I get the chance I might toddle along.

the bray manager , devlin , is a good friend of dalglish and is also Damien Duff's agent or at least was . Anyway , perhaps Dalglish is over with gerrard or even downing .

I thought we didn't play in Ireland anymore because of what happened to Fowler.

LFC sent an XI over to Duanway last year.

Fowler was tackled by a Man Utd supporter ( centre half for Shels, I think) and broke his ankle very badly.

Even Irish radio are talking about there being a surprise in store tonight at this game.

I think he injured his ankle against Linfield in pre-season once as well.

The Malaysians will be a bit pissed off if Gerrard and Downing etc play in Ireland and not over there!

Whispers that Mata and Aguero are making their débuts tonight

Spidey has obviously never been in Bray

no tea drinkers in ireland? I would have said complimentary guiness but that would be far too expensive for the club.

So kenny was indeed the 'surprise' , sat on the bench for the game according to official site . Great that he taking some time to watch the reserves close up .

Director of Liverpool’s Academy and player development Frank Mc Parland is with the Liverpool reserves squad as their Irish tour took them to Bray and Waterford this week, Mc Parland was hired by Rafa Benetiz two years ago to rebuild the academy director but has since been promoted given the job he has done.

He’s been speaking to Oisin Langan about whether or not they are under pressure to produce players for the first team squad.

We've announced a link up with Bray and St. Joseph's as well during this tour, not really a major surprise given Kenny's previous ties with Pat Devlin - the Bray manager.

Apparently Raheem showed a glimpse of what he can do when he came on, picked up the ball in midfield, beat two players and cracked one off the crossbar from 25 yards+
