Makes no sense that we signed him except to sell him for profit

Yeah I always thought it weird when we signed him. I thought maybe we would get him on the inhalers and bulk up and he would become one of those Klopp type players but I guess that never happened. We aren't setup to accommodate a player like Carvalho. The minute we sold Continho that was the end of that footballing experiment. My guess is that he'll have to somehow learn how to be better defensively or it'll never work and he'll eventually get sold. Or he changes into a winger.

I think Carvalho was bought to be the Ox replacement - capable of playing upfront and MF - he’s just not quite strong or good enough yet.

A loan at RBL will do him good… if he plays.

From what I saw (and read) of Fulham the season they came up, Wilson had a better season than Carvalho anyway. I know Fabio is younger but, if Wilson was never going to be good enough for us, I don't know why we thought Carvalho would be. And at least Wilson has some pedigree at Prem level, Carvalho has done nothing.

Wilson is a lot older, we gambled on Carvalho's potential.

You're right, he did have a better season than Carvalho.....Harry was basically the KDB of the championship that season but it's all about potential ceiling.

We clearly thought, with the age difference on his side, Fabio could prove to be better Harry (and he still might)....let's see what he does with Leipzig next season. Fact remains at 19/20 years of age Fabio did what Wilson never could, which was score in the Prem for Liverpool.
