Newcastle want Coates on loan.

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/4...sfer-news-newcastle-sebastian-coates-loan.htm

I wouldn't let him go there.

Yeah I know he'll get games which will make him a better player but it's fekin Newcastle. They way they bumbed us silly over Caroll, with Commoli helping to take down our pants, is still a thing of nightmares. In fact doing them any kind of 'balanced' deal would be a kin to a gang bang victim accepting an invite for afternoon tea with the perpretators - everyone sits there pretending the bumming never took place but you know it did because your arse is still soare 6 months after the event!

well a loan with a fee wouldn't be too horrific

2m for Coates for the rest of the season, sorta brings the cost of Carroll down to 33m 😱

I know its Newcastle and all but putting aside all the transfer shite between us I can't really see it as a bad thing. He'll be playing with decent players and if anything we might get a decent fee for him if he does well and he's not in our plans.

Agree with all of that. But for me, the bumming still feels like it was yesterday, it's also still very painful so reason and logic are ignored.

Liverpool hope to agree the transfer of Philippe Coutinho on Wednesday despite the midfielder's claim that he wants to stay and fight for his place at Internazionale.
The Anfield club had a bid of around £8m rejected for the 20-year-old Brazilian last week but negotiations have continued and Liverpool are confident an improved offer will be acceptable.
Coutinho signed for Inter from Vasco da Gama as a 16-year-old, though he remained with the Brazilian club until he was 18, and is regarded as one of the most promising young players in Serie A. Despite that reputation, Inter are considering the approach from Anfield as they look to improve their finances.
The player has placed responsibility for any transfer firmly on the Italian club by stating that he wishes to impress the coach Andrea Stramaccioni. Coutinho told Sky Italia: "The Liverpool offer? I'm happy with these offers, because it means I am doing my job well. But I think Inter have faith in me and I want to show my value here. I don't feel that I'm on my way out. I hope to stay at Inter. The young players feel the faith of the coach and of the club."
The Liverpool defender Danny Wilson, meanwhile, has admitted he has little future at the club under Brendan Rodgers. The Scotland international has made only nine first team appearances for Liverpool since joining the club for an initial £2m from Rangers in 2010 and is now on loan at Hearts until the summer.
The 21-year-old, who has not made a senior appearance for Rodgers, said: "It's going to be difficult for me to have a future at Liverpool. They have four centre-backs there who are fighting for two positions really. You see players who played in past seasons not playing as much now. I have not really managed to force my way in. My only thinking now is to get out and play and what happens, happens."

Mersey dash: Pepe Reina's agent jetting to Liverpool for talks on keeper's future

With Barcelona looking for Valdes' replacement and Arsenal, Inter and even Manchester United watching closely, Manuel Quillon wants some answers

Bolting? A string of clubs have their eye on Pepe Reina

Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina's agent is heading for showdown talks over the Spanish star's future at the club.
Reina's long-standing adviser, Manuel Quillon, will be on Merseyside on Wednesday for top-level discussions with the Anfield brass, because of growing doubts about his place in manager Brendan Rodgers' plans.
Barcelona could be looking for a keeper next summer while Arsenal, Inter Milan and even Manchester United are watching developments.
Rodgers has been checking out other keepers over the last few month, when Reina's performances have been mixed and his ability to start moves from the back has become a tactical issue.
Quillon wants to find out if Reina is going to be Liverpool's number one down the line.
And if the Reds say the 30-year-old can go, Quillon will want to know their asking price as some of the interested parties prepared to pay for a top keeper in this window.
Reina is on around £100,000 per week - the kind of wage that reduces the field of interested clubs to all but the elite.
Arsenal admire Reina, but the cost of the whole package would be a problem for them.
Inter are also keen, but the fee would probably be an issue.
Reina will inevitably be in former club Barca's sights - along with others - if Victor Valdes is sold in the summer rather than letting him leave on a a free when his contract expires at the end of next season.
United have a problem to address following David de Gea's latest mistake in Sunday's draw with Spurs, but will not over-pay for a keeper of Reina's age.

Second time lucky? Liverpool poised with improved bid for Inter's Philippe Coutinho

22 Jan 2013 22:30
Reds are willing to offer £8million for Brazilian midfielder his club rate at £10m - and he's reportedly told one Anfield player he fancies the move

That's SO your colour! Will Coutinho be wearing Liverpool red soon?

Liverpool are preparing a second bid, worth £8million, for Inter Milan's Philippe Coutinho - but are unwilling to meet the Italian giants' £10m asking price.
The Anfield outfit remain keen on Coutinho, despite Inter knocking back their opening £6.8m offer on Friday, and talks between the clubs are continuing.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers feels the Brazilian, who can play in midfield or as a second striker, has great potential.

Red Water if you keep bumping this shitty thread with stuff that should be in other threads I'll be locking it.

And don't start moaning, Fergie made me do this.

What the fek are you on about?
This is the thread for transfer bollocks or have I accidently posted in the thread for confirmed ' here is a picture of the cunt at Melwood' thread!

Michu: “I’ve read and listened to all the speculation, but it doesn’t interest me, and that's why I've signed a new contract."

New contract (an additional year on the 3 year contract he signed in the summer)

Newcastle target Moussa Sissoko has been suspended by Toulouse chairman Olivier Sadran after refusing to commit his future to the club.

Sissoko's contract expires in the summer and it's thought that Toulouse want £2.5million to allow him to leave in January.

Toulouse coach Alain Casanova told L'Equipe: "The whole club shows full solidarity to that chairman's decision.

"It is really a shame a player educated at the club could leave as free agent. His absence is big loss for the team, but that decision is logical."

As long as they're still paying his wages I don't see why not. Not picking him at all might not be everyone's choice, but I don't think it's a totally unreasonable decision to take.

Apparently, Montpellier owner Louis Nicollin has told AMKSpor in Turkey that he has accepted a €14 million bid for Belhanda from Inter.

isnt it like him giving his notice in and getting punished for it though essentially? its bullshit

Madrid binned him off quite quick, so there must have been something in it. Hopefully he's shite and they do sign him. He'd fit right in with their defence.

I think that's rather harsh - he wasn't getting any time ahead of Pepe & Carvalho, and Ramos was filling in when either of those was injured/suspended. So he went out on loan to play. Not seen him at all this year with Benfica - so I cannot comment if he's regressed, but he was excellent when I saw him at Santendar (Is he still getting capped by Argentina?)

Gianluigi Buffon commits to Juve for another 2 years and takes a pay cut form €6 mill to €4 mill.

LEGEND.

Should finish his career at Juve. Can't & don't want to see him in another shirt.
