Rodollega and N'Zogbia.

Rodallega's a great shout - he's red hot and I'm sure he would score loads of goals with a top club.

Not so sure about N'Zogbia though - if my memory serves me well, he had plenty of games for Newcastle without achieving that much.

He's playing very well atm Portly and has matured alot in the last two seasons. I always felt he stood out at Newcastle too. I feel he'd be a good shout for us on the left flank but wigan would probably want in excess of 10 million for him.

I've given Jonas Guttierrez a lift home from town to a hotel. Any excuse to tell that story.

Oh and I've split up a fight between Joey Barton and my mate.

Friend of the stars me.

I often used to see Pennant in Lime Street when he was banned from driving.

Squiggles I take it that you never gave Peanut a lift. Hahaha
Fuck no.

He's one of the thickest players to pull on the red shirt.

Lee from Bolton. Song as mentioned already. Kevin Doyle has been working his balls off for Wolves this season.

I think Baines is a cracking player and we should have tried to sign him when he was at Wigan. Albrighton and Brannan (sp?) at Villa are looking like very good players at the mo.

Dirk Kuyt.

This.

I'm always mixing up Klasnic and Kalanic, are they both a bit rapey?
Lets just say yes for judgemental value!

They sound Eastern European, so, y'know, without making any crass racial stereotypes they could be. They probably are. They *definitely* are.

Klasnic was arrested for rape a couple of weeks back.

Lucas Leiva.
Actually, no, he's muck.
Erm Charles N'Zogbia is very good. Tears it up every week at Wigan like.
Lee for Bolton is starting to get the plaudits lately too, he's been good down that right side for Bolton for awhile now.
Staurt Holden for Bolton is decent too.

Friend of the stars me.

Does that include me?
Barry Bannan of Aston Villa will be good in a year or two also.

I'm not your friend, buddy.

Yeah agree about Bannan. Albrighton too at Villa. But this is in danger of becoming a "Hot prospect" thread.

I'll stick with Pienaar, Baines, Kuyt.

Reina was massively underrated until very recently.

Dirk Kuyt - everyone says he's a donkey but the guy is a born winner.
His last trophy was the league cup in Holland, back in 2003!

Realistically, anyone who has underrated Darren Bent obviously doesn't know what they're on about.

Kalou is a good shout, Nasri is absolute top quality, Malouda turned into an absolute diamond.

I think Utd should give Evans a proper run, the right back that City sold to Sunderland looks good to me, Barton & Nolan have always been good players. Crouchie has always been undervalued.

Which begs the question...Do you have to win to be a winner?
I'd say so. It's just lazy terminology. There's plenty of more accurate plaudits which can be attributed to Dirk.

In a single player sport, I'd agree. But in a team sport, you don't ahve to have medals to be a winner, and can have medals even if you're not. For example Gerrard would be a winner even if he didn't have the 10(?) senior medals that he has. He can win games on his own and drag the rest of the team into it.

I don't think Kuyt is the best example of a winner though. I don't think he has that in him.
