But he got many of those medals directly because he did "win the game on his own and drag the team into it".

Either way, it's a term which cannot really be defined, so I don't like to waste my time with it.

That's what I mean, Gerrard is one. And he would be, even if he hadn't been lucky enough to play for Liverpool and win those medals. And there's other players who may have a decent haul of medals, who I wouldn't consider winners. I'm just saying that medal haul doesn't define it.

But yeah, you're right, it's undefinable, and purely opinion based.

As much of a cunt as he is, Joey Barton is good. Like a homeless man's Steven Gerrard. Which still makes him quite good.

Yeah, he's been described as a slow, poor man's Gerrard by me before.

Which still makes him twuice as good as Lucarse or Crapsen

Interesting shout about Pepe, fans of other clubs don't rate him at all. It's obvious to people with half a brain he's one of, if not the best goalkeepers in the league.

Fans of other clubs don't rate Pepe? Really? I know people are a bit strange in Nottingham, but that's amazing. 😉

At the minute, i'm working in Mansfield, which is in Nottinghamshire..... Google it, you'd understand.
