Winger seemingly imminent
Reds boss Simon Davey has revealed that he is close to bringing Liverpool winger Adam Hammill back to Oakwell.
Speaking to Barnsley Player following the 1-1 draw with Man City, Davey said:
"We are very close to getting Adam Hammill into the football club. It is not signed, sealed or delivered but we are close. The only problem is that he is due to have an operation to remove his wisdom teeth on Monday so I do not know whether he would be fit enough for Hillsborough.
We are very close to that as well as one more and probably 60/40 to getting another two."
Hammill made 14 appearances on loan at the club last season and scored one goal.

by my reckoning i reckon we have close to 50 million to left spend. even after spending 15 million on aquaman i reckon we have enough money left to easily buy silva or even try for auguro or even villa.

hey if he goes for it and then fucks it up fair enough for trying. if he plays it super cautious and all we see is aquaman and one or two lucas and n'gog type signings with a riera thrown in then the writings on the wall for this season.
