What about Essein? They are saying he can leave if he wants, would they loan him to us after the way Moses has been left on the bench?
 
Nocerino and Borreillo apparently on their way to West Ham on loan too. While there are flaws and the teams relying on loans must be prepared for repercussions, the loan system's rule applies to everyone. Some teams identify and swoop for loan signings that make a difference, others do so in a hit-and-hope manner.

It should be limited to 3 loan players in the match day squad. Barry, Lukaku, Deulofeu and now Traore are all going to start for Everton, if they make the champions league next year, the majority of the team who took them there won't be at the club anymore!

Traore isnt that good though. But Everton are using the loan system very well. Hijacking Lukakus deal and Mourinhos idiotic decision to let him leave will result in them finishing higher in the league than they would have otherwise.

What year was it that Arsenal was 10+ points clear of United but in all sorts of injury problems but Wenger, though having the backing of Levy to spend, refused on the basis his squad could cope ? They lost the title to United.
 
Anyone know how Ignachio Camacho is doing? With Malagas financial worries and him having 18 months left on his contract, surley he could be a very good signing for a decent fee.
 
I reckon we will sign a player or 2 still, probably one on loan and a buy, just cannot comprehend nothing happening, it doesn't make one bit of sense.

It would be staggering if we don't sign anybody with what is on the line this season, it would be the beginning of the end for the owners.
 
The lack of any signings from us also sends a signal that we're weak.

If we sign someone the squad will believe we are pushing for the top as will other teams.

The squad is still mega thin and we've now got a few injuries, if Ayre and the owners dont get a couple of players in then they're mental. We might not get another chance like this season to get in the champions league any time soon. We'd be better off spending 30mill this window and fuck all in the summer.
We have got to secure top 4 this season from where we are, else this season must surely be judged as a failure.
 
I doubt we'll sign anyone and that's not me just being pessimistic.

We are right up there with a fighting chance of top 4 and now is the time to gamble. To lose out on our primary target again after what happened in the summer is just galling.
 
Can we recall the players we have out on loan? If so, we should really be looking to get Assaidi and Borini back if we don't sign anyone.
