I thought Jonjo played like a headless chicken at times today.
henderson was excellent tonight. there is definately a player there.
Henderson had a great 2nd half.
Shelvey has potential, as does Henderson, as does coates, as does Carroll. Spearing had a great shift too - the guy is a very very good squad player.

At times he did, but that's experience for you. He as very good as a whole.
I've said from the start that I see quality in Shelvey and Henderson. Henderson has had a bit of a rubbish season but there is a footballer in there.
I don't know whether we have the next Gerrard, Alonso or whoever in there but if nothing else we've got capable squad options. In Shelvey's case at least good value at 2.5M.

I thought Jonjo's performance was very encouraging, but it's not that it was top class, it was just that he wants to try to do the correct things, he is naturally inclined to attack (unlike Henderson) and has a good range of passing.
Can never hurt I'd love a guy who actually thrives as a box to box midfielder, especially because Jonjo does look better when he has very little defensive duty. he can truly make the team tick though.
Kenny should start all the young lads for the remaining league games and start building the team round them. There's nothing to be gained from wheeling the likes of Carragher out.

Definitely. I'm hoping that is why Shelvey is getting more games now and it's not just a case of Gerrard struggling for fitness.

I think Henderson will play the middle more next year - and Adam will be a back up ...
At this point, I don't think where we end up in the league is going to have much of a bearing on the owners decision.
Aye. Would like Muniain but someone in the mould of Martinez would be preferable.
