When I was watching it I saw it as a ducking goal... then out of nowhere... it wasn’t.Klopp was very keen to describe it as offside too, but I'm not convinced either.
that keeper we got is fucking boss.

Does anyone have a vid of “the” save he made against Norwich when they were through one-on-one? That has to be one of the best pieces of goalkeeping I’ve seen in recent history. When he made the stop without fouling the player, whilst simultaneously clearing the ball, I released a small amount of pee.
Yes - I was misremembering it. It’s even more impressive when watching it back again.DIrty Sanchez does this no justice by describing is as a one-on-one .. its a fucking two-on-one and Alisson is still the favourite
Ive a funny feeling, if any of our players took a throw in like that, it might, just possibly, be ruled a foul throwI wonder if our throw-in coach has anything to do with this.

I love Alisson but it's like y'all completely forgot how good Reina was in his first few years here.
Reina was great but he also had a mistake in him more often than Allison I seem to rememberI love Alisson but it's like y'all completely forgot how good Reina was in his first few years here.
Reina was our best PL era keeper - until Becker. Reina won the golden gloves a few years running I seem to remember. His last year was sloppy and for that we stupidly traded him for Mignolet.
Oblak is an absolute monster, and we're going to have to be clinical to get past him, but he hasn't got the distribution skills that mark Alisson out. In fairness to Reina, his distribution was a phenomenal asset too.Pepe was great, but he never was in the “best in the world” conversation. Spain’s #2 behind Casillas, never mentioned in the same breath as Bufffon, Neuer or Cech - at the time looking with red-tinted glasses I thought it was a bit unfair, but objectively he was always a rung below the very best.
Alisson for the 2nd season running has been arguably the world’s best and at the very least in the top 3 of active keepers alongside Oblak and Ter Stegen.
I seem to remember that the beach ball incident against Sunderland fucked with him for a long time for some reason. But as others have mentioned, he was very good but never in the best-in-the-world conversation. Mignolet on the other hand was a fucking disaster right from the start.Yeah, he was miles better than Mignolet, but he deffo had a weird slump at the end of his time here, when he seemed to stop making saves, which may have coloured some opinions a bit unfairly.

That was Ray Clemence invented quick accurate distribution.Alisson looks to be a better keeper for sure, I guess I brought Reina up because some people seem to think Ali invented quick accurate distribution.
Reina wasn’t all that tbh. I never remembered him as one of the greats.
