And Budha, if people want to be riled by him and call him whatever, then so be it. He's no longer demostrating that he's doing things for the good of the club, he's trying to prove points, which is pathetic.

He might be misguided in the extreme, but you've no proof he was trying to prove a point today. He might just as easily have taken off Torres to save him for the Benfica match on thursday (which of itself is wholly unacceptable).
I don't think he's trying to egotistically prove points (against whom?). He's just got his priorities wrong and is too defensive. I want him to leave too, but I'm angry with Rafa's management of the side, not everything else about him.

I don't know mate, I think it's the beginning of the end when you start to get pissed off with personal aspects of your manager, at least when you feel it's started to creep into his management at the detriment of the club, which is exactly how I feel these days.
I think there's been issues surrounding Torres of late, whether it be attitude, links to other teams, form or whatever and I feel like Rafa tried to do to him what he's done to others in the past, which could potentially backfire horribly.

Well as much as we might have different opinions over Rafa's reasons the outcome is the same; Torres and Gerrard look mightily fucked off with Rafa. It's likely today is the final nail in his coffin re losing the dressing room.
From the set-up today, the apparent tactics, substitutions and player reactions it's clear he has to go. A must-win game sees our team hamstrung yet again by Rafa's idiosyncrasies.
I don't agree with all this RCDNW v RCDNR debates, but it's clear that whatever his merits, he's not got anywhere near the best out of his squad this year.
We need a change of management.
