THE ASHES

Agar's 98 could be the best thing that happens to England as they'll be tempted to keep him in the side, despite injury and shitness.

Not enforcing the follow on would be the safe way to get a lead of 500+ but it would be a big mental blow to make them follow on.

I dont think a lead of 500 would be required tbh..

I think we could easily bowl em out enforcing the follow on..

a 2nd innings from us won't be required imho...

Pointless question.

What is that fucking word in the sky sequence before & after each ad break?

We are full of lunder it sounds like, which makes no sense.

I assumed it was wonder, but the more I hear it the more it sounds like an L.

It is full of wonder. Emeli Sande.

Ahhh. Cheers.

Definitely sounds like Lunder to me.
That said I thought the sidewinder sleeps tonight lyric was 'calling Jamaica' until a couple of years ago.

Limited the damage at least.

Let's hope the middle order can keep their decent form going & get a couple of hundred tomorrow.

Right decision not to follow on. The English bowlers need a break and that pitch will break up so batting last would be a nightmare. Going 2-0 up in the series is enough of a psychological blow.

Totally disagree. The way this lot are batting we could have skittled them out for under 200 and they'd have had to score over 300 to even worry us. We're in their heads and we should have got them. Now they've regained some momentum and if they skittle us out for a low number they will have two days to pick off a score. One thing we know about this lot, they will fight.

Imagine if Aussie were 30 odd for 3 now in their second innings. Game over and well in their heads and an innings defeat. That's like a 6 or 7 nil at footie. Total humiliation for them.
