Babel's body and Voronin's brain, hopefully; the opposite would be a living nightmare.

With acknowledgements to George Bernard Shaw. 😉

Given the fact that Voronin can be a lot cleverer on the ball some times, but if Babel were to show up he could get a goal or an assist or two. Although I guess Babels attitude is more likely to drag us down than Voronin it terms of effort. I'm not really sure who I'd prefer. Maybe Rafa is waiting up who has less bad points too?

Reina

Carra - Zorba - Agger - Insua

Mascherano - Lucas

Kuyt - Yossi/Voronin - Yossi/Babel

Torres

Both Babel and Voronin are so shit, I don't which option I prefer. Maybe Babel, just because it means Yossi would play in his best position. Then again, a left side of Babel and Insua is just asking for trouble.

If Wash is available though, I think I'd rather see a 442, with Voronin and Babel both on the bench where they belong.

Is that the official line-up? If yes, what does Voronin/Babel mean, I wonder?

We've asked uefa for special permission to try and merge 2 players into 1 to see if it would make any difference to how shit they both are!! (*sorry vanbasten84 if your around ..i know how you feel re:Voronin)

I would go with Babel simply because Torres should gee him up, i think Voronin is a lost cause in terms of trying whereas Babel might try a bit harder

Have you watched them play Rebel? I think Voronin's been trying hard of late (he's just shit, but he was free), Babel trying? Ok.

Agree to an extent, but if - IF - Babel's on his game he can bring massively more to the party than Voronin ever will.

I dont think either are trying, Voronin has some lazy touches for example although he works harder than Babel. I think with Torres Babel will put more effort in even if he drives us mad

the key for me is to take him off if he's wank early rather than waiting so late

I agree, but how likely is Babel to be on his game? I think if Babel is off his game, he can affect the team more negatively than Voronin would.

I dunno, I don't really want to pick either of them, I'd prefer to give someone else a shot. Not sure who though.

I agree there's more chance of Babel doing something, especially with his pace, but it's still marginal stuff and 'trying' shouldn't be an issue for playing Babel over Voronin.

babel trying not to try to play

Why not? I mean I think it's a given that Voronin and Babel have no future with us and neither is likely to actually win us the game. I don't know how likely Ecclestone is to win us the game either, but at least he may have a future with us.

Yes I agree - but to start the game ? Like to see him come on later.

What a game it would be for Babel to turn in a performance.

The lazy fucker would probably waste it, but i'd still rather see his name in the starting line up over Voronins.

id prefer babel to be playing than voronin.. simply because he can attack the wingers and is faster but in saying that, both are shit! ive got $50 on this game so we better win! otherwise there goes champions league and there goes my $50 🙁

Rather decent-ish looking side.

Hopefully some of the less rated players will have a stormer tonight. E.g. the Greek, the Babel/Voronin clone and Insua and Lucas.

Anyways I think that team can and will win tonight.

*Cheers Redshrek

Is Wash fit? If so, he's surely ahead of Ecclestone in the queue for a first-team start. I'm not a huge fan, but he played pretty well against Arsenal the other night.

Khl, life must be ace being as constantly optimistic as you.
