I read a report from Liverpool.no, that the coaching staff at Anfield, Rafa in particular are very upset with the Spanish FA. They're very firm on getting Pacheco to play for Spain U-19, so he won't be availeble tonight.
Otherwise he would have made his debut..

pity.

Anyone got any idea what the squad is? What young players are in it? I seen that team posted on another website this mornin so i'd take it wit a pinch of salt.

Fank goodness there's someone on 'ere oo ain't too lazy to speak proper!

I would be really surprised to see us make 11 changes from the team that started on Sunday.

I'd expect Lucas, Aurellio and probably Agger or Carragher to start. Wouldn't be surprised to see Insua start either.

Caveleri, Degen, Babel & N'Gog you would expect to start and Spearing will most likely replace Mascherano.

Vorinen should probably get a start as well.

spearing and plessis are as bad as it gets.

Why haven't we sold plessis? When's his contract run out?

Answer myself - this summer

Good news Dee!

MIDFIELDER SIGNS NEW DEAL
James Carroll 28 October 2009

Damien Plessis has signed an extension to his current Liverpool contract that will keep him at Anfield until 2012.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been named as an unused substitute for the Reds on four occasions so far this season, and has made a total of seven appearances for the senior side since his arrival from Lyon in August 2007.

Plessis is a regular in John McMahon's reserve team squad and is also a French under-21 international.

Didn't someone on here say that he has upped his game consideribly since McMahon arrived.
Also something about Itandji being a malign influence on him.
I guess the coaches must see something in him.

who i their right fucking mind gives plessis a new contract?
[/quote]

Are you saying Rafa is mad?

Plessis was blatantly coasting last season, he was hopeless. McMahon is no soft touch, so he's scared even Plessis into making an effort, but he's still depressingly one-footed - not only is he one-footed, he has to move his whole body around before passing with his left foot. He makes outdated oil tankers look slinkily mobile. What the hell does he do in training?? Victor Palsson has much more potential, and a vastly superior attitude.

I really hope we win to stop the annual jizz-fest over Arsenal's kids a couple of months earlier than normal.
They do at last seem to be bringing through a few more british lads these days with the likes Wilshere, the ones listed above and Lansbury on loan earning rave reviews again.

Ecclestone is a cocky young player. He's well worth a run-out. At least he'll give us a bit of pace.

It normally is right me & sheikh have the same source for team news i believe correct me if im wrong sheikh. He gets it right the majority of the time.

the Spanish are idiots, what's more important for a young lad a game at the packed emirates or a game god knows where in an empty stadium.
