His striking technique is just elite. Like he could literally be the best FK taker on the planet if he wanted. Ridiculous ability

Easiest pen for a right footer is to the left imo but it curls away from the keeper and you can put it into the side netting. Probably impossible to stop unless it’s cocked up in some way.

Harvey Elliott must be very concerned, all these positions being discussed are very similar to his profile
Aye, if he found his chances hard to come by back end of last season when we went on our mini run....certainly will be moreso now.

I think Elliot and Jones could be capable understudies to Ali and Szob. They'll get the games i'm sure

should do but we’ve seen it with Curtis, regular games are key to development and Harvey also probably has hendo in his way too.

I think hendo will slowly be more milner, and relied upon through necessity rather than rotation

yea could be the case, Harvey might need to show a season of patience here

Equally, with the extra drive from the RCM position and trents passing; Harvey might get some game time as a drifting in RW to ease salah

So pretty much everybody is on the story now? Is there anyone left to report it that hasn't done so?

Cant' help but feel this isn't true or there's some catch attached to it......have we secretly received an offer from the Saudi's for Mo we've accepted?

This is unknown territory for FSG.

well Klopp loves himself a flexible player so no doubt this will be explored

It's MUCH harder to find/buy a player with genuine class/technique in Szobo (at 22) than to buy a DM (who only really needs an engine, physicality and intelligence).

I also think buying this dude likely means we will see Hendo more at DM. Him and Fabinho (who I don't think is finished) can share game time there.

I think with more rest/rotation, and a point to prove, we'll hopefully see a return to form from Fabinho. Let's remember, he's only 29, younger than Casemeiro, who had a good season.

You could see it with Fab's towards the end of the season, once we got a bit more balance around him, and Trent changed roles, it effectively gave us more numbers in the middle and more mobility, put that around him and he's ok just being the anchor and dropping into defense to cover. It worked well.

Recommended this guy in 2019 whilst he was at Leipzig. I didn't think he was in our budget and didn't scout him any further. Lets get Thuram after this and a back-up defender.

he is going to start biting defenders next season?
TBF he should have just kept his mouth open with Andersen, and it would have given those old school vibes back

Just need some racismo from him now to really mark his Uruguayan card

Anyone else concerned that his best position is the carvalho position.. which we don't play?

Gotta say though. Smart business removing him from Leipzig so carvalho gets game time in that position.

Unlike carvalho, i think he could play deeper more effectively. He's a 10/8 hybrid, with the ability for wingplay. Fabio is a pure 10 and anywhere else he struggled with the physicality

Every single player from that league is shit.

Everyone from karius to keita. The best bit is that shitty league made Sancho look like a 350k a week player when he is utter wank. Havertz, shit. Werner, shit. Only decent import from Germany in last decade was klopp.

We'll need 8 midfielders in the squad so with Milner, Melo, Carvalho, Ox and Keita gone :

AliMac
Szabo (ass of u and me)
Thuram (ass of u and me)
Thiago
Fabinho
Hendo
Bajcetic
Jones
Elliott
+ anyone else from the youngsters (Clark)?

Seems like Clark and maybe Elliott will need loans. But overall a great improvement to the team.
