The Cornish Guardian recently ran a reader competition to name the 'terrifying fiery ball in the sky' that is seen in the area on most days

Seems as though there is a big possibility he'll end up at Dortmund. Do we know that Klopp has him as his first choice anyway?
We've been linked a bit with Lucas Moura. Could need that type of player instead.

The fans don't want him back. They hate him.

It is Bayern that want to include Götze in a deal for Hummels. Dortmund want only money and won't accept anything else. Bayern want to get rid off Götze and see this as a chance to get good money for a player with only one year left on his contract.

Dortmund want to wait until next summer so they can get him on a free.

Hmm I spent a while working in Germany

So here goes..

Somewhere (no idea what mailand is ) or Madrid is not an issue for Dortmund , drop dead /fuck off / piss off goetze

IMO if we want Götze and are willing to pay £20m+ then we will get him.

The banner reads: "Milan or Madrid - as long as it's not Dortmund! F'ck off Gotze!".

Blimey. I've had my own doubts about signing him but I'd never have expected that from the Dortmunders.

Vollands meant to be pretty good isn't he? I'm sure one of the more knowledgeable posters will enlighten is.

I've seen him play a few times. He'll probably do ok for a lower mid-table side. Nothing special.

Dembele could be on his way to Dortmund according to German media. Rennes have rejected an opening bid of 15 mill acc to RMC

Oh god, I saw the BVB v Bayern game just before their CL final a few years back. BVB fans were slating him then. There were loads of banners that were certainly not praising him.

"Louis van Gaal would lose out on more than £1 million if Manchester United fail to qualify for the Champions League, though he would earn £5m if he's sacked, according to a report in The Times."

Ridiculous to pay an old man 5x more money to fail when it could well be his last paycheck.

West Ham offer £31.5m for Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi but face competition
Ed Aarons

West Ham United have offered €40m (£31m) to Marseille for Michy Batshuayi but face competition from a host of European clubs including Juventus to sign the Belgium striker this summer.

Slaven Bilic’s side are long-term admirers of the 22-year-old, who has scored 16 goals for Marseille this season despite the club’s struggles at the lower end of Ligue 1, and first attempted to buy him in January but were told he was not interesting in leaving until the end of the season.

They have now returned with a firm offer which would smash their club record transfer but must now wait to hear whether it will be accepted. Despite Batshuayi insisting last week that he wanted to stay in France, Marseille are understood to be keen to sell the striker they bought for just £4.8m from Standard Liège in 2014 after chair Margarita Louis-Dreyfus had put the club up for sale last month. According to reports in France, Marseille are under pressure to balance their books and deliver on the budget that they had presented to the league’s financial watchdog the Direction Nationale du Contrôle de Gestion (DNCG).

Any deal is likely to be concluded before the end of the month with the player hoping to be selected in coach Marc Wilmots’ Belgium squad for Euro 2016 next week.

Juventus have also indicated that they would be willing to match West Ham’s offer, with Álvaro Morata likely to be sold back to Real Madrid this summer and a potential target for Chelsea. Roma, who are in negotiations with the London club over the transfer of Batshuayi’s Belgium team-mate Radja Nainggolan, are another of his suitors.

Tottenham and Liverpool have had a prolonged interest in Batshuayi, who signed a contract extension with Marseille in January and have been asked to kept abreast of any developments, although it is understood they may not be willing to pay such a big fee. Borussia Dortmund, Atlético Madrid and Barcelona have been linked in the past and could enter the race at the last minute.

Batshuayi was also the subject of a similar offer from Stoke in January but his representatives have indicated that he would not be interested in moving to the Potteries.

West Ham’s current transfer record is the £15.5m they paid Liverpool for Andy Carroll in 2013, while they also paid £10.7m last summer to sign Batshuayi’s former Marseille team-mate Dimitri Payet.

Indeed, and one can see why. Given the way they've taken to Bilic and he to them, plus the fact that they've been handed a new stadium on a platter, it makes sound sense for them to try and seize the moment. How far they'll get with it all remains to be seen, but in their place I'd absolutely go for it now.
