No thanks, keep asterisks far away from us as possible.

They're intended for dodgy clubs like Shitty and Neverton.

I suppose that elusive bob-box MF who carry the ball 60 yards.

Timbers---Konate--- VVD
----------Fabs----CDM------
Trent---------Kuddus-------------Ali Mac

-------------Salah--------Nunez------

---Diaz-----Gakpo------Kudus
--------Alexis-----New 8
------------ Fabs---Trent
Robbo-- New LCB---VVD----Konate

Looked like Tsimikas was waving bye bye in front of the Kop after the final whistle

I hope he stays, and I would guess that he'd prefer to stay, but ultimately he's not likely to be first choice anytime soon.

He's good enough to play regularly, and he's only a few years younger than Robertson. It wouldn't shock me at all if he left.

70m for a player with 12 months left on his deal? No ta.

+ there are only 4-5 teams that can afford that and Bayern aren't 1 of them.

Really? Ignore the 12 months left myth now.. the state clubs and Chelsea have blown that out the water.

He's got an English premium too. A leader. I for one wouldn't begrudge paying 70m for him.

100m+ I'd agree with you.

Yes really, 12 months left on his deal means everything to his value. £70m is what he's worth if he was on a 3-4 year deal still running.

What the likes of PSG City and Chelsea do isn't real life, they live in their own fantasy world....let them pay your 105mills for Enzo, 90mills for Mudryks, 70mills for Rice......not a market we need to be looking at.

12 months + a one year option that West Ham can excercise.

He’ll go in the summer but West Ham will play it like he has 2 years left.

Er....we are gonna pay like 50M+ for a player that cost Brighton 7M last season, if the reports are true. We already are in that world...we just cant buy as many as they can in one go.

Milner leaving right ? Have man City got any other mature leavers soon that would be happy to join us...like er Gundo ?

Ali Mac.

Not sure why people are complaining? If you want Prem proven that's the price or you go to the Dutch league and get someone who will take time to adapt. £60m for a WC winning MF who has been one of the best in his position is I'd say worth it. We could have picked him up for nothing had we spoken to the Agent prior to the WC.
The other names trending are Ugarte, Mount and Thuram. Ugarte is a 6 and Thuram is an 8. I guess Mount will be used as an 8 too if he is signed

It may be hard to understand, but the length of contract a player has left with his current club has no bearing on the quality the player would bring to a new club. So while the buying club may be able to play to the fact that the selling club is desperate to get some value out of an asset that may be free in 12 months time, if there are multiple clubs in for a talented player then the price will go up.

If there is any truth that kimmich is available for £50m ish I'd drop everything to get him.

If he was 25, then sure - but 50mill for a 28 year old when we are crying out to get a younger squad, probably not the best thing.

In saying that, Kimmich is a star

I mean just because we chose to buy 1 player at 50m and not 5 players at 10m doesn’t mean we live in a fantasy world.

Our budget is 5x lower to what the likes of them have, that was kinda the jist of it.

We took Milner at what age? Not for a moment do I believe he is available for that price though.

Milner is an exception of the rule......for one he had the pedigree but more importantly he was available for nothing.

What players have we signed under Klopp 28+ for that kind of money?

If Bayern were after the money, they should take 50m.....he's been an unbelievable signing for them, signed from nowhere from a side that came from the 3rd division....got the best years out of him and should look to profit.

I can't control who Klopp goes for, but if Kimmich was available for £50m, he would be my top target. Now if following that he was key to winning the league or CL, I doubt anyone would care about the price.

Ah right…Brighton signed him in January 2019, not last season!

Kimmich for £50 million? We should be all over that. Proven winner and can play in a few positions. We should get over the balls that signing a player in their mid to late 20s is a mistake.

If it were 2020 I'd fully agree.

We can't afford to balls up this summer, we simply cannot legislate for any signings going pear shaped.

No signing is 100%, with Kimmich you are getting a proven player who is more likely to succeed. The only downside is he has reached his ceiling and now his value decreases over time, and considering we sell no one that's of little relevance. Kimmich MF is a game changer! However, Man City with Cencelo on loan to Bayern have the trump card.

He is proven, quality operator but there are also 24-25 year olds who fit this agenda who have more to give in the long term.

Our model is to build for the next 4-5 years with these players. we've got enough in the cabin by way of experience.

If you had the choice between signing Kimmich for 50m and Macallister for 50m.......

I'd take Kimmich, as I never thought he would ever be available for £50m. I don't think he is coming, Gravenberch is pushing for a move to LFC. The good thing is we are being linked to the right type of players. Even Mount at £40m is a good signing
