Irrelevant.

If an offer comes in which is too good to turn down, they’ll sell up. It’s business.
The price Leipzig would sell at is a price no club may go to, so when someone says a player is not for sale that's what they mean.

It's been proven time and time again to be false, not to mention you've completely contradicted yourself......what they really mean is "we know you don't want to give us stupid money but in the event you do, he's for sale" that stupid money Leipzig would value, multiple clubs could easily cough up. Nothing more than a negotiation tactic.

Remember this? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/21875451

& shock horror 12 months later, SOLD!

Or even this? https://www.skysports.com/football/...lippe-coutinho-not-for-sale-says-jurgen-klopp

& yes you can guess what happens 6 months later.

What's irrelevant is saying "everyone has a price".

Mbappe, De Bruyne, Darwin, Saka, Musiala, all have a price. None of them are moving.

I hope you don't adopt the same approach towards the ladies

You don't know that Hyena, the players hold the power they have the final say where they want to end up and their heads/agents heads are easily turned by money. A lot of those guys are at their boyhood clubs (except Darwin and KDB) so the player themselves aren't interested in a move away so it's not irrelevant at all.

We are only referencing this summer window, the Croat will stay at Leipzig at least until Jan. No one said he would never leave. Not sure why we are dabating semantics?

I don't think there is an ounce of truth in it. However, if Klopp did go into the transfer market and got Ndicka, Kamada, and Tielemans on a free but also got Jude and say someone like Thuram. It would be an excellent window imho.

Liverpool handed boost for potential double signing – Club withdraws contract offers to pair

Liverpool may have been handed their opportunity to sign Eintracht Frankfurt duo Daichi Kamada and Evan Ndicka, with the German side withdrawing their contract offers to both players.

That’s according to Sport 1 and BILD, who say the Bundesliga side have given up hope of convincing the duo to sign new contracts at the club.
Both are out of contract in the summer and Eintracht’s hopes had been that they would agree new deals and avoid leaving on a free transfer.
That is yet to happen, though, and the pair have been linked with moves to clubs all around Europe as they represent bargain signings.
Liverpool are one of those to have been named as suitors, with the Reds brought into the picture for Kamada over the last few months and reports in England claiming they are also looking at Ndicka.
Their hopes of getting both players may have now been handed a boost as Sport 1 and BILD report Frankfurt have withdrawn their contract offers to both players.

The former reports that ‘the door is closed’ for Kamada, despite sports director Markus Krösche having ‘fought’ to keep the midfielder.

There has been no movement in those negotiations for a long time and the player has also ‘signalled’ that he wanted to take a different route with his career. That tallies with reports in recent weeks claiming he wanted to move abroad.
Sport 1 don’t back that up but do say that ‘foreign clubs’ are vying for his signature although the player is yet to make a decision on his future.
Either way it appears he will be leaving Eintracht and BILD say he will be joined in doing so by teammate Ndicka.
According to their information, the offer from Frankfurt to the defender ‘will no longer be maintained’ and thus he ‘will leave’ this summer.
At the moment it remains to be seen where he ends up, but Liverpool have been linked, with reports stating that they were even interested in him when he was at Auxerre.
Either way, Eintracht are expecting him to leave and have already signed a replacement in the form of Willian Pacho, whose arrival was announced by the club on Thursday.
That’s a further hint that the club are planning for life without Ndicka, who, alongside Kamada, appears to be on his way. Whether that is to Liverpool, remains to be seen.

We're getting none of the players you mentioned.

If the player is relatively happy, paid well, has a long way to go on his contract, and his club is in a good position financially and football wise, then the club can hold on to him.

We don't sign new players, we just reincarnate our previous ones.

Our Panchen Lama, Pep Ljinders, has spent the last three years scouring the valleys of Europe for the latest manifestation of Steven Gerrard. It's been a long search but there finally seems to be a candidate with all the correct birthmarks. Will he pass the final test though? Or will Liverpool continue their search for the true One?

Regardless, I'm sure there'll be great fanfare when finally do find him.

Next Up: Who is the new Wjinaldum? Has he been born yet?

yes he’s an actual goat, we need to wait for the next respawn

I wouldn't be concerned about Tieleman's attitude, he plays for Leicester, that would depress the cheeriest of souls. He could be a Gini signing for us, turns 26 in a couple of months. Him and a money signing (hopefully JB) would be bonzer.

Think this is the DM we need. Get it on.

This is why I think we won't press for Jude too hard. I think we'll try and get a good deal, but if we can't I think we'll go for (and probably get) our 2nd and 3rd targets instead.

It's sad, but it makes so much more sense with our financial constraints to get 2 top class CMS and a CB, than 1 generational midfield and a stop gap

We can ask his Dad to step in if we need cover at defense and left back. I know his dad is 51, but he cant be worse than Gomez or Robertson or VVD today.
