Ajax and Liverpool have reached agreement on the transfer of Luis Suarez. The transition to the English club immediately. The transition is a total investment of up to EUR 26.5 million. The Uruguayan international was seen until 30 June 2013 under contract with Ajax.
Suarez was born on January 24, 1987 in Salto, Uruguay. In the summer of 2007 he came over from FC Groningen, before he played for Nacional. He made his debut in Amsterdam on August 15, 2007 in the match Ajax - Slavia Prague (0-1). The striker played a total of 159 official matches for Ajax, scoring 111 goals in it. Last season he was top scorer in the Premier League with 35 goals.
Luis Suarez Ajax won the Champions Cup twice (2007 and 2010) and once the Johan Cruijff Schaal (2007).

It is up to £23m. It could well be in around the £16m -£18m base fee with potential add ons based on our future sucess bringing it up to the full amount
