I'll let someone else decide the authenticity, but sounds plausible to me.

Summary is basically that Suarez will only leave if Real come in, if a 100m bid comes in, he wants to be let go. Loving playing here and doesn't want to leave unless he dream club comes in for him, so doesn't want to go to PSG or anyone else.

In this case I'd guess it's to get that '100m' figure out there again for Suarez.

I suspect they're basically hammering this figure home from now on, similarly to how levy pushed 'most expensive transfer ever' for bale through the media, trying to ensure a massive price tag if Real do come in for Suarez.

I wrote something similar in a thread a couple of weeks ago. There was a time when they were a big club full of stars but still genuinely charming and slightly bewitching, and the big players they did sign were bought because they were great footballers. The great team from 1998-2003, basically. They still had a proper identity then.

I think the rot set in when they signed Beckham. That was the beginning of the end of them as a proper football club.
