Sturridge

I think you're right, but I wish you weren't. He's a phenomenal player when rested, unplayable , & a very good one when not.

Maybe not playing 90 minutes every week & a few cameos may get him to his best, I hope so.

Can't wait for Sturridge to be in the team again. It'll make Countinho re-find his form. No doubt he needs an intelligent, predictable and pacey runner for his through balls.

Cheeky stuff today; assist for Suarez's goal deceived the defenders, and that bit of juggling before his goal was just taking the piss out of the opponents. The assist actually reminded me of the assist for Enrique's goal against Swansea in our 5-0 thrashing of them last season.

Enjoyed his love fest with Suarez as well - both were really keen to ensure the other's contribution to their goal was acknowledged.

well I hope we dont go back to the bullshit SAS thing, i hate it because we dont play football and teams find us out when we do that. I have no idea how we will balance between the current style we are playing after studge comes back because we are also thrashing team without him. But the difference he will make in big matches will be unquestionable
Yes those last 2 goals and 3 great chances were such bullshit with sas.

We needed him against City and Chelsea, strangely his two former teams, but I'm absolutely delighted that he's back now.

Thought he went off the boil just before his lay off but fuck me what a way to announce yourself back into the team.

The Studge was chuffed to bits when we signed him and gave him the chance to play centrally, and he's still surfing that wave. They're different types of player, but watching him I'm reminded of Aldo, who showed the same tangible sense of sheer enjoyment playing for us.

Lookin' good.

LOL, what a reaction to Studgie's goal.

Who loses out for him?
It won't be Gerrard or Lucas so one of three players are going to be very unlucky.
On current form it could be Coutinho that loses out but I love when Coutinho plays with Suarez and Sturridge.
Its hard to leave Sterling out either given how he's blossoming with game time.
It will be tough for Rodgers but it's a great complaint to have.
