Right now if we are playing 442 tactically I'd rather go with Bellamy over Carroll regardless of opposition. He just offers more and makes more happen.

I think Owen played someting like 118 minutes last season. Welbeck was at Sunderland.
Most teams do have a first choice, go-to strike force, no? Of course, it's unusual amongst the top teams to see the same 11 from week to week, but outside of the top 6 I'd say it's more unusual not to see a recognised front 1/2/3 week to week. Even so, Utd won the title with a pretty settled front two last year (Rooney, Chicocunt).
