I’m worried Spurs will have a new manager before our game and lift
Dont worry there are no good managera around for them to get. The likes of Zizzou, Jose are not the type to play football that for the most part spurs fana have come use to under poch.

For the third time, Rafa.

Nah. You can't go around sacking managers the first time their team goes through a rough patch. They'll stick by Poch because Levy doesn't want to have to flash the cash (paying Poch off and a transfer kitty for the new manager).

I reckon it's more to do with Madrid and United both (soon to be) needing a new manager and both fancy Poch and Levy wants a big pay settlement for letting him go.

Yep. That was indeed part of my thinking too, though managers don't demand large payoffs (as compared to player transfers). He'll go to RM.

Yeah, but Real Madrid have got Perez's favourite Mourinho hovering over Zidane's baldy head like the spectre at the feast (and yes I KNOW THAT DOESN'T WORK IN CONTEXT)

He may not get that job yet, and in any case Real Madrid are, "ZIDANE CRISIS" to one side, top of La Liga and unbeaten.

Apparently the "hot take" right now is how Spurs are about to implode.
Eriksen obviously wants to leave
Verthonghen doesn't want to sign a new contract
Kane is starting to feel like he wants to win shit.
Alderweireld doesn't want to stay either.
Delle Alli has looked like a shadow of his former self.

If they don't get CL footy I don't see how they can get by without selling those players and replacing them with cheaper versions. Poch has been great for them. If they sack him it will be fucking hilarious

Kane is starting to feel like he wants to have a go on her too.
Alderweireld doesn't want to stay either (because she turned him down).
Delle Alli has looked like a shadow of his former self (ditto Alderweireld).
I think all of the above are related to the fact that Vertongen was banging Eriksen's wife. Though obviously that should be explode.

If he was under rated those Massive and wealthy clubs would not have given hik the chance. I cannot think any football fan would think he is not good enough, the guy is a master tactician and probably the best coach of his generation along with Jose who is slightly younger ?

@Modo - Rafa would not last 7 months at Spurs because he would fall out with Levy within months and start going public on lack of funds etc.

'Overlooked by top clubs'

Posts managerial record at Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea, AC Milan and Bayern Munich.

*slowest clap ever*

Not to forget when he went into management with Parma. What a team they had. I don’t know if they won shit but it was ten times the Spurs shit has today.

If they could find someone to take Kane for 150m they could build a great squad. He's bang average these days. Did he ever have pace? He looks to even be slow in terms of movement etc these days. i.e. the whole 'the first 5 yards are in the head'

He's still an amazing good natural finisher, but that lack of pace has cost him some of his game, & clearly affected spurs in the process.

I can't see them getting silly money for him due to that, plus his injury record, which is not good in the slightest.

He's never been quick.

I fucking hate the slobbering cunt, and it took me years to admit he weren't some spawny get enjoying a hot streak. But he's still a quality player. I suspect he will slow down, though, due to injuries taking their toll, the increasing unrest at Spurs and his advancing age.

His all-round game is decent, though, hold-up play, passing etc, so he's never really relied on pace. He is an incredibly selfish player, though. And person. Cunt.

150m will get you two players in today’s market as a biggish English club

Man Utd are about to be fleeced by Spurs for Kane.

I honestly think Man U are about 3-4 signings from being really good.
I'd go for a wing forward, defensive mid, central mid and a striker.
If they can get Kane, Savic and I dunno maybe Ndidi and Fernades.
Wouldn't be cheap though.

Even if that were true (it's not imo, they have bigger problems from the top of the club all the way down), we have been in that position many times until recent years, & it's extremely difficult to get right, & you could argue that case for almost any of the top half sides, 3 or 4 quality players will revolutionise most sides.

Of course Utd will be in a stronger position to try to get it right, despite their vampirific owners they can & will throw shitloads of cash at their problems, which in footy is always a huge advantage.

Look at it this way though, take, say Haaland, loads of top clubs sniffing round him, can you see him choosing Utd over City, us? Even Arsenal or Chelsea look a better environment & more likely to get into the CL.

So they're left with things like massively overspending on Kane, & offering obscene contracts to an aged & past his prime De Gea cos they can't or won't try to, attract a younger quality keeper.

They're a fucking shitshow from top to bottom, & there's no easy fix, they'd have to get in a top manager, & then give him the funds to buy at least 4 younger top quality players all at once to even start to arrest the decline, & they don't even have a capable DOF in place to do that kind of long term planning.

You make good points. Disagree about De Gea being past it and 4 quality players would propel them forward. However there has to be a plan or an idea behind the whole thing.
They need to instill that winning mentality again. Yeah you're right it's gonna take time.
