Sick of Arsenal.

Everyone knew that would hand united the title. Cesc had strong words to say about it, "develop youngsters or win titles". He's right. Wenger needs to splash the cash and buy some experienced players who have a winning mentality.
 
Does everyone buy into the fact that the Gooners have loads of money to spend but Wenger just simply refuses to do it?

I mean there has been a battle going on for years to gain control of the club and has any manager in the world ever before refused the chance to spend cash if it's been offered?

Im sure he has cash if he needs to spend it. They have the potential to win trophies each year. They compete but fall short every time. Wenger needs to address where they are falling short and get players to give them that final push.

His past success and the excellent job he has done has bought him time but it's been over 6 years without a major trophy.

I dont believe the cash was there in the past, Usmanov tried to get a rights issue done to raise money from the shareholders for transfer funds in the past. All the others refused.

Arsenal did have a windfall last year from the property deals related to highbury and it was confirmed that there is 100m in cash in their accounts, 60m of which can be used as they see fit- transfers, dividends etc. The banks have a covenant to ensure 40m is kept in the accounts. We know Wenger bid for Pepe in January too.
 
Do a credit check on Arsenal Football Club, that will tell you eveything you need to know about their finances.
