That's embarassing. Do you really need a squad worths hundreds of millions to play ultra defensive football and have your players spending the 2nd part of ET on the ground faking injuries? Mourinho might be a winner, but the way his winning is really embarassing.

Yep.

After Madrid scored, there was about 5 minutes of actual football played. The rest of the time was Madrid players rolling around, time-wasting. The ref had a poor game. Wasn't strong enough.

Usually I support against Barca (and for the underdog), but the way Madrid went about winning today was nothing short of disgraceful.

But hey, a win's a win for Real. But if they play like that, I can't see them suffocating and cynically fouling Barca over 2 legs for a win. I know Mourinho's sides have done it before, but I don't think he's got the defensive players to do it over 2 legs with Madrid.

I used to be a massive spanish football fan and 5 years ago or so I probably saw more of it than i did Prem football . But I've gone right off it now ,
for all the cheating and shite but mainly for all the arrogance of Barca and Real . Barca with their "more than a club" , we do everything perfect and both with their belief that everyone else has to bend over and take it if they want one of your players , because obviously they are the mighty and who can say "no".

And their fans are shite , I went to the camp nou for the first time last year , been waiting to go for ages but it was such a let down .It's an entertainment for them and despite the 90000 or whatever fans , it's not intimidating at all . I guess it just pisses me off that players view this as the pinnacle , I don't get why more don't want to play where there is real passion and proper football fans . I was at Fulham - Basle the week after and i enjoyed that alot more , much more what football should be about .

Yeah, both clubs are now full of cunts. I'd say Real more so.

It's a shame how La Liga has become a Real Madrid - Barca comedy roadshow. "How many are they gonna win this week?" seems to be the order of the day.

The money spent and written off by both clubs has made La Liga stale.
 
But going back to the negative tactics of Madrid , well i guess it's a tough call when you play the likes of Barca . Everyone wants you to show some fight , be brave , have a go and win or die trying playing good stuff . But then if you do that and it doesn't work out then everyone accuses you of being tactically naive as Barca/whoever can only be beaten with strong defensive tactics and discipline .

But yeah , Mourinho chooses more than not to go that route and for all the money they've spent you'd think they'd have more balls.
