We've all been riding on a wave of optimism ever since Kenny was appointed. We were bound to stop with the crazy optimism sooner or later though. Best we set the expectations now?
We all agreed Hodgson was the worst manager in recent history. Why?
1. Because we all agreed that he had the 6th best squad in the country playing like a relegation side?
2. Because of his negative bullshit?
3. Because of the consistency with which he played Pucas?
So the expectations from Dalglish are to improve on all three right?
I can't remotely fathom him being as negative and cringeworthy as Hodgson, and expect, in every sense of the word, to instill 'passion' back into the club. But what of the other two? What if his team selections are as cringeworthy? What if he insists on playing Pucas?
What if he has the 6th best squad playing like a relegation side?
We're all agreed that we can never 'turn' on Kenny. But let's be clear, if we don't finish in the top 8, Kenny WILL have failed. Right?
How does this work?
