To me it didn't look like a step on his toes in a manner that would trip or hurt him. If Skrtel even makes contact it's just a slight touch, imo you can touch as long as you aren't hindering the player.

Terrible linesman today flagged two us for two offsides wrongly, and the ref was giving us nothing except for the red. I thought the first yellow was a bit harsh, but Danns was stupid to go in for the second like that with one yellow already on him. The penalty award was laughable.

So we've had three games of shit refereeing out of our last four. Kevin Friend (Bolton at Anfield), Andre Marriner (West Ham) and this guy. I didn't think Oliver was that bad (Chelsea at Stamford Bridge) though I know some thought he was poor (so four out of four for those who think he was). Didn't we get Atkinson against Chelsea at Anfield? Ouch.

While I'm overjoyed about the eventual win. A strange thing happened while watching the game. A player got a yellow card half through the second half. At the time I thought it was Gudjohnsen - Then the camera panned to Allen!. I had know idea he was even playing! It clicked that he was though because I remembered the starting XI I read about earlier. Either I'm going mental or his first 60 mins has to go down as the most non existent performance's I've ever seen. He didn't make any mistakes (otherwise I'd have noticed him) he just didn't do anything! ERRR?! I suddenly feel like Chris Kamara! 😵
