Seville have given up. They know they only have to beat Haribo next week, they look like they're not arsed at all. Imagine this at home if you hadn't been beaten for a year.
 
This is a fucking amazing scoreline at half time at this ground. Last november was the last time they were beaten here.

We must, simply must, keep on top of them in the second half though, if they do get an early goal it could give their fans & the players a bit of confidence. I want to see the same clever counter attacking play, no sitting back trying to keep possession & be clever until we've taken off key players & are running the clock down, we must keep the pressure on.
 
This makes me more confident for the Chelsea game.

Disclosure: I'm going and I have never seen Liverpool beat Chelsea. Sixth time lucky.
 
The 20 mins or so that followed the Karius save / Yedder miss was the footballing equivalent of abuse.

This is a great game. Obviously because we're 3-0 up but even the pantomime villains have been ace. Firm has been brilliant and Klavan makes Lovren look like a fucking chump! Special shout to Gini. He's been ace as well 🙂

At times Sevilla reminded me of us - loads of possession and some slick passing and then the opposition lob the ball forward and are somehow through on goal. Not to mention the set-pieces. All that very visible anger and frustration - yup, been there!

Great game for us so far, just a shame that we couldn't get a couple more. Sevilla could easily score in the 2nd half and I still don't trust us to not completely collapse. Need to keep on like this.

I am going with my son, who I am willing to use as a human shield if required.

Although he's so fucking scrawny it would hardly be much of a barrier
