draw or win and we're in.
loss and i think we need a sevilla loss or draw to get in.

A win sees us win the group, a draw will most likely see us qualify as 2nd. Maribor have just drawn two games with Spartak and Sevilla arent the best away team either, that could well end up a draw as well.

Just win the game against Spartak and win the group. I think we'll do just that.

Dortmund and Bournemouth games of seasons before, and even this season with Watford, hoffenheim, Leicester and sevilla could just have easily been decided by a random score generator machine. Like a basketball game or last minute of a cup game where one team has given up on defence to chase an equaliser.

But maybe that’s Klopps system. His style.

Personally I prefer tactics that involve controlling games. Where scoring first gives confidence that even under the cosh we can suffocate the opposition. But that’s not in Klopps mind.

For me, as much as I like him, he’s more of a motivator than a tactician. He seems slow in making changes during a game when the tide is beginning to turn. Substitutions seem to come too late.

I like him still. His games are exciting and usually filled with goals. But that’s for the neutral. For us fans it’s fucking frustrating and annoying to see the same shit happening week in week out.

He needs to show more flexibility in his in game tactics and stability when we are in a commanding position. Otherwise every game we feature in will give the opposition confidence that even if we are three/four goals up with only minutes remaining, there is still hope for a comeback. And they don’t need to change much for our team to crumble under pressure.

We are Origami F.C. nice to look at but fold under pressure.

We need a leader in defence and one in midfield as well, we also need to get players prone to consistent errors out of the starting 11. Mignolet, Karius, Lovren, and Moreno will always have clangers in them, and in turn should not be starting for a team with any ambitions. They're all on their umpteenth chance so have proven they can't be trusted. It's madness that they have not been replaced, and are still being given regular chances.

We made a double substitution in the 60th min yesterday that regained some control, and with a bit more luck we'd have scored 4-2 from either Mane or Can's pass to Salah before conceding 3-3 in the 93rd min.

We clearly didn't learn our lesson from the first game. That second half was an absolute disgrace.

The most demoralising thing though about last night was that it reinforced the feeling that we're just in the competition to make up the numbers.

We can't hope to achieve anything with a team that's prone to going to pieces. Let's just hope we don't have the misfortune of seeing a repeat of the City / Spurs games in the CL.

Klopp needs to finally take a long hard look at his squad in Jan / summer and sort this shit out. Times run out for some of these chumps.

He's shite and being English made him expensive shite.
So you're saying that I hate English people. Like Gerrard, Lallana and Henderson.
But not Clyne, Sturridge, TAA...
Yeah one group is definitely more English.

That‘s a racist thing to say.

It's all about Moreno. His mindless blundering around in defence cost us their first two goals and de-stabilised the rest of the defence, This is not the first time this has happened. Liverpool were coasting in the 2016 Europa League Final when Moreno blundered and exactly the same kind of collapse happened, Sevilla running out 3-1 winners.
Indeed. He started the fall with imbecilic defending, surely Klopp can't keep him in the team now, surely. And Mystic he didn't prevent a goal with that header .. it was going across the goal not into it, though we don't know what would have happened thereafter.

You constantly parroting that "he's sh!te" doesn't make it true. The only person you've convinced by it is yourself, and that was a foregone conclusion anyway.

The charge is not that you "hate English people". It's that you're pathologically obsessive, and it stinks the forum out. You start from an automatic assumption that English fans and media overrate English players and, in order to plug that view, you choose particular targets and keep chipping away at them, way past the point where most everyone else is monumentally fed up with it. Your monomania about Lucas was just another aspect of the same desperation to comfort yourself by hugging your obsessions around yourself and inflicting them on everybody else.

The state of our midfield.

Indeed. The reason we couldn't get the ball to our forwards to relieve pressure was that our midfield had gone AWOL. I'm sure some of that was a tactical shift by Sevilla but Coutinho wasn't involved and Henderson and Wijnaldum over-run. Maybe someone can tell me what tactical change Sevilla made to enable that ?

You're 3-0 at half time away from home in the CL. Set yourselves up to be solid and not give much away. The game is won. You don't have to play as open as you did in the first half. So frustrating. We just don't seem to be learning from past mistakes.

One name, Pizarro. He raped us in midfield in the second half.

We seem to be learning in some ways and to some extent - I mean, once the media labels you a side that can't defend corners, you'll be called that for months or even years regardless of what you do in the meantime, and the reality is we've actually defended most corners very well in recent games, there's been a palpable improvement - but once the pressure increases, this lot just seem to lose their minds. There's a childishness about even our best players - there's Firmino, for example, showboating for his second goal and then wasting multiple chances because, like the rest, he seems to assume the important work is done (and we could and should easily have scored at least one more and killed the game off) - that probably won't go away completely. A real leader in the team might gradually improve things, but we'll have to bring him in, there's no one in this squad who has the intelligence and authority to do the job.

It was the opposite problem, she was starting disturb my brain, it was too much hassle, but she liked me and like a pet you can't bring yourself to do harm upon someone who is not your enemy, so I pulled out the aspergers card, explained that my brain works differently, and it's not my fault but I'll never feel anything for you, and it did the trick.
So you have an aspergers card .. do you get a discount at Starbucks with it ?

Liverpool Football Club have issued the following statement.

Following detailed and troubling accounts given by Liverpool supporters attending the match against Sevilla last night, the club is seeking to establish the facts regarding their treatment at the hands of the host stewards and local police force.

The safety and security of our supporters is our paramount concern and we intend to gather all the relevant information before responding further.

Who, for example, KE?
For me Lovren, Klavan,Moreno and both goalkeepers are never going to be anywhere near good enough for us yet all get plenty of playing time, I would also remove Henderson and Wijnaldum. That’s 7 platers for me who shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad. Opinions and arseholes I know but that’s my take, he seems to continually show faith in these players and I have no idea why other than he might be under the misapprehension that he can improve them.
