Now I know the whole football world has gone mad, but fucking hell, he's 29. And they're throwing Mikhitarian into the deal.

That's the bit I'm more arsed about, I think he'll do well at Arse. 450k a fucking week for that piece of shit. And I'm sure he'll start stropping about and fuck off to China once he's got his signing on fee and a year or two up the road.

Klopp said quite emphatically that “we are not in” for Sanchez - I guess that’s why. In their desperation to buy their way into the top, United are really blowing up the market in a way that even City’s shaikhs are loathe to - first with the Pogba deal, which made the £90M midfielder a “new normal,” and now with the unprecedented 500K a week salary for Sanchez, who is very good but not anywhere close to the Messi-Ronaldo bracket of stardom. When we talk about how crazy the market has become, they are one of the worst culprits.

They are absolute cunts for doing this and I don’t think this will work for them in the long-term.

Hopefully the next time they need to buy a defender, they will have to pay 'the new normal' price due to the world record transfer fee we paid for VVD!

Klopp is so smart

That's muh boy!

Obscene. You just have to hope it really does fuck them up financially.
Unfortunately it won't. They make a ridiculous amount of money every year. They can easily afford it. Sanchez is a quality player and its a great signing for them. I was really hoping the deal would fall through somehow. He's a big game player, just what they needed.

They keep diluting the shares every year just to pay the bills. And Sanchez is gonna cause so much shit in that dressing tomb.

The worse aspect is that players are starting to regularly run down their contracts so they can pocket the transfer fee that would've been paid to the club as wages.

Is Sanchez even that good? I would have thought that for that kind of money you’d need to be turning losses into draws and draws into victories.

In an ideal world he'd have gone abroad but realistically most of the clubs that could afford him and would be in for him (i.e. not Barca or RM of course) are in the PL so it was always likely to be one of them. However in some ways this is better for us, yes it strengthens United but not City. If we are to have any chance next season then it's better the star players are spread around rather than congregated at City.

I'm not sure if I admire Raiola or think he's the most odious prick in football. He's kinda like The Joker. The ultimate bad guy who'll be on the phone one minute getting 250 a week off Arse for Miki and then back on the phone to the scum getting 500 a week for Pogba.

been having a look on the site that shall not be named and they're all starting to shit themselves that he's off to citeh.

Would be hilarious, can't see it though.

He may not be 500K good but he is very good. I think this signing guarantees their top 4 and increases their chance of silverware. I hope he does not turn out to be another Van Persie.

In a market where the alternatives are 60m+ for 'good' players, its not a surprise that players will see out a contract knowing that teams would happily pay them such a fee. I expect to see Alexis as the first of many to enter a new world of 'super wages'.

I don't get where he'll play for united

Either martial, lukaku, rashford, Mata or lingard is getting relegated to the bench

Probably Mata because he's on his way in the summer.

But then he plays behind lukaku, does lukaku then hinder him, as he's not worked great with an out and out striker

If he plays on the wing it'll have to be on the left, binning martial off...

And mourinho never enjoys a maverick role, and that's where Sanchez thrives

I don't really care about the wages as Utd can afford it.

They've signed a truly special player and it will only improve them.

Nobody will give a shit in the dressing room if he's winning them games which he certainly will do.

Of course they give a shite. Several of the other players have appaz asked for a increase in wages.

Appaz.......

Clubs increase the highest paid figure year on year, its just part of football and nobody at Utd maybe bar Pogba can ask for parity.
