I think you are exaggerating we have not been that bad. Midfield has done ok, cole and Torres need to do lot more. This is utd away do you expect us to be all over them. We have three new players in midfield FFS. Torres is the key, babel for maxi would be positive. Raul has shown some nice touches.

Meireles and Cole need to show why we all got excited about their signings. Maxi needs to be subbed and replaced by someone who is not a total non-entity. Torres needs to wake up and cheer up a bit, although it's not easy to do so when he's got no service at all.

Hmmm - maybe I was watching another match. Decorating so I'm not taking the lappie into the TV room so it's amazing when I come out and see the criticism on here. Yes, of course we all want us to dominate the match and win by a cakewalk - but since when is that ever likely at United ?

Anyway, thoughts.
Away at United - 55-45% possession in our favour at OT. We've done well in the midfield, nice passing, competitive, not given them any chance to dominate. Miereles is very good on the ball. Poulson has a done a good job as DM but needs to get a little more adventurous with his distribution. Gerrard is dropping too deep .... and so is Cole, leaving us without a LW. Torres has looked good when he's in possession but has not had good service. Maxi with Johnson look to have the beating of Evra & whoever .... but Maxi is not on song otherwise we could do some damage there.

2nd half - Gerrard push forward, Cole get wide left, Someone, anyone on for Maxi. If we continue to dominate possession and pass it around like we have then with a little more of an adventurous spirit we can get at least a draw out of this.
