Behave. The pending administration in no shape or form affects transfer budgets.if salah is sold, we still have enough fire power to finish teams but it allows us to buy CBs and Defenders. I think FSG are using the administration of the construction firm to say to Klopp that money has to divested, and any more purchases has to be made from sales.
I would rather we switch to a 4-4-2 or even 4-5-1 which will leave our right-side less exposed
That's the problem, there's no one in world football like him. So it's either hope our current options are good enough to make up for his departure, whilst also improving our squad, or spend heavily on a sub-par replacement
Across Mac, Szob, Jones, Gakpo, Diaz, Jota and of course Nunez; i think we could make up for his loss
Or we don't. TBH at this point i'm past caring.
We absolutely should not replace him this summer if he is going. Focus on the areas where we should have decent targets already scouted
Imagine if Caicedo had said to yes, would have been interesting to see how we would have come up with that money…
I think a good outcome might be having a deal in principle, so we know he's off in a year, get one last season out of him, but ample time to prepare for it. Him going in the next few weeks would be a disaster.
Bringing one last trophy for the mighty reds before heading off to new pastures in 2024.He won’t be leaving in the winter window - he’ll be too busy at AFCON.
Have a look at our trophy cabinet pre and post them and it might give you a clue.I don’t understand how anyone can defend FSG at this point in time.
I’m not.I'm kinda OK with selling him now.

Well that still trumps all else imo.Arguably the only thing they've done right with regards to football matters is get klopp
Everything else stems from him. And recently they've let him down big time
I’d say the positives on the balance sheet are; Klopp, promoting Edwards, the Couthino money spend and the contract extensions for our “Big 3”.
The lack of investment since winning the CL being the massive downside
I think the club knows that we can get that or more next summer and we might even start a bidding war between the Saudi clubs
I wonder how this works, the money all seems to come from the same pot. Even the ‘non-PIF’ clubs like the one which signed Hendo seemed to be drawing money from the same source via application. Maybe they’re all given a budget to work to and whoever decides to commit the most to Salah wins but it’s a weird situation.
That’s nowhere near a good enough offer. 90m buys you nothing these days.
Yeah the league buys the player and then leases them to the club.
For 'league' read 'mister bone saw'
