I hope FSG keep turning down the money, just to watch this place go into place go into melt down when he pulls hammy plating against some crap club like UFC in Europa.

The Egyptian FA have allowed Salah to stay in England during this international break. Something is afoot.

Yeah!
Let's hope they offer a billion!
And we say no!
And then he breaks his leg in 4 different places and retires!
Nah, too far.
He'll go when the time is right.
He has one more league to win.

Let's enjoy these last 24hrs guys because this time next year we'll all be bidding farewell to one our greats.

The Guardian reporting that some European clubs have raised concerns with UEFA that Saudi clubs might not pay all the transfer fees due for this summer's signings.
Like it's actually UEFA's problem and not theirs.

Lol so weird. I would never risk my life and standard of living going to another country like Saudi. People have gone mad.

I mean this is another issue. Will the Saudi's honor payments? You could have to get it all up front

Everyone I know (and it's a few because Saudi is often the next step for expats leaving Shanghai) have seen their standard of living raised substantially and are now sitting pretty enjoying an early retirement.

Even alcohol isn't an issue and most pop across the bridge at weekends to drink and party to their heart's content (to say nothing of their bar at 'home).

It seems like the only reason these Saudis are not backing down is because they know they can and they want to send the loudest message that they are serious by securing the biggest name out there from one of the biggest club in the world.

It is not even about Mo at this stage, it might have started out that way but the way it has blown up, it's about maintaining their pride now. They might not come back with this 200+m bid next year when the clamour has all but died down. Or if we break at some point.

If he plays well, helps us win a title, gets player of the year and Ballon D'or nomination, they'll be back.

The reason the Saudi’s are so desperate to get Salah now is that they’re planning to sign Nunez for £150m next summer.

you have no idea mate. It’s hedonist and luxury capital over there especially when you’ve got the money.

All that religion it’s just a facade.

Religion is the same everywhere. The people who conspicuously flaunt it are often the most self-worshipping, materialistic ones. They talk about religion to convince themselves that they conduct themselves according to some mysterious ideals instead of wanton self-interest.

It's not hedonist. It's Hendo-nism
