I'd like some fat burning pills. Anyone know how to get any?
That pic made me sad Modo ... Sakho comes off as a good person, helps the needy etc ... He's struggled on and off for most of his career here - be it b/c of injuries or form - but he doesn't come off as a twat or someone who's done something to get ahead ... As I assume he's guilty, I hope he returns to play the game he loves and rebuilds his reputation. Too many football players are absolute twats who don't do nearly as much good as they could with how their talents are paid. Let's hope one of the good ones can make it back - with us or someone else.
Mine said redrumI got a cryptic message early that just said Sakho, 18 months. Anyone heard anything?

Mamadou Sakho has not requested for his B sample to be tested. Has accepted UEFA's findings that he failed drugs test.#LFC
Why do they test a second sample? Surely whats in his piss today is irrelevant to what was in his piss 3 weeks ago? Or do they take two on the day?
Without doubt it's 100% why we've banned him now, if it's 6 months, 2 - 3 of those will be the summer (if UEFA accept our suspension as the start date), otherwise if the verdict drags until next season, he could end up missing most of next season. Lets hope they do.Fingers crossed for 6 months.
Will be interesting to see if he has played his last game for us.
Pressure will be on Uefa top come down on hard on drugs cheats.
Would be amazed if its only 6 months
And Ilori and Leiva. 😉Kolo wont be playing next season and Skrtel is on his way out. If that happens we'll have Matip, Lovren and Gomez. We'll need another CB.
I wouldn't sell him now - value will be low. I would only be looking to bring in another CB if it was clear that they were going to be a massive upgrade. Buying for 10m+ another CB of similar caliber is just stupid.
Yeah, there's no way we'll sell him if it's a 6-12 months. We'll just wait it out and see if we want to keep him when he's back. If it's multiple years, we may just cancel his contract.
Bans haven't affected the careers or saleable value of any other players once the ban is over. No one even mentions Rio Ferdinand's 8 month ban or Kolo's now for that matter. He can do his time, then come back.
Imagine the size he'll be after an eight-month ban.
Unlike Rio, Sakho's 26, so even without the minor matter using fat-burners, he's resale value would be fairly low. IIRC Chelsea sacked Adrian Mutu for drug related offense. What options does the club have if Sakho gets a ban? Dock his wages? Terminate the contract? Maintain status quo, minus playing time?Bans haven't affected the careers or saleable value of any other players once the ban is over. I'd agree with you on that.Mutu was hoovering lines of coke wasn't he. Surely there is a difference. There is to me anyway.
Shockspearean!Sakho shock - Liverpool defender declines B sample test
