So he wrote this off his own bat ?
Thats fanciful at best. Its perfect from the clubs point of view.

No, it's more fanciful to think Ayre - who is the one who does the important briefings - bothered. Pearce would have got any info he needed from elsewhere. He knows individuals around the club who'll tell him this and that, and the same is true with the players. There's not much there at all, and the tone he sets is one that most people would set. Is that via senior execs at the club? No. The relationship between the Echo and the club has always been close enough for the LFC hack to do these pieces without any detailed discussion. But if you want to carry on with this 'briefing' line, then carry on, I couldn't care less.
I understand totally the club wishing to distance themselves from any wrongdoing, and this seems as if the player himself is responsible, but I still don't understand how, if this was leaked on purpose - it helps Liverpool? Is it an attempt at damage limitation? If so, what's the worst kind of damage he could cause?
I don't understand either the posts suggesting this was an "FSG tactic" which they used for the Red Sox. Sakho cots us £18m. We now have an asset who may not play for us for a considerable period, after which his resale value will have been damaged. Where's the benefit?
He's Liverpools mouth piece yes, that doesn't mean he requires their briefing every time he writes a positive article for them, it's going to be pretty much his default position regardless.Maybe i'm wrong and Pearce writing a piece thats protective of the clubs reputation is a function of some Sturridge like mental weakness that he has

I thought you would have spotted that
So it's a positive article for the club? Its not a positive article. Its one that fucks over Sakho for the clubs sake
That's obviously, hopefully, Jesus Christ please, a JOKE?
If anything, someone has to tell James Pearce he's been briefed.
FSG paid 18m for Sakho. If they want him out, going about it this way is very quickly taking millions off his transfer value. Which is why it isn't really comparable to what they may or may not have done in baseball.
How out of shape must he have been to lose his place to Kolo Toure?
Someone needs to tell you that you're an unfunny bullshit artist.
Anyways, from gkmacca's info it looks like this came from outside the club.
Funny if true. 2 of their goals came directly from Sakho's poor positioning or failure to stop his man. No Sakho no 2-0 lead.Borussia Dortmund FF @BVBfansFF 16h16 hours ago
Dortmund officials said they won't take action if Sakho used performance enhancing drugs because losing to#LFC was our own fault.

That pic made me sad Modo ... Sakho comes off as a good person, helps the needy etc ... He's struggled on and off for most of his career here - be it b/c of injuries or form - but he doesn't come off as a twat or someone who's done something to get ahead ... As I assume he's guilty, I hope he returns to play the game he loves and rebuilds his reputation. Too many football players are absolute twats who don't do nearly as much good as they could with how their talents are paid. Let's hope one of the good ones can make it back - with us or someone else.
Or a good at being a drug cheatI'd rather we signed someone good that wasn't a drug cheat.
