The government's Covid rules state that anyone who has tested positive must self-isolate for 10 days from when the test has been taken if they do not have symptoms. Yet that could well be longer should Salah develop symptoms, with the government also confirming that people should self-isolate for a further 10 days should symptoms develop during their isolation period.

People are allowed to stop self-isolating after 10 days if they have just a cough or are symptomless. Yet they must continue self-isolating after these 10 days if there are other symptoms such as a high temperature.

Salah is definitely rule him out of Liverpool's next game, which is against Leicester City on November 22.

The Reds then face Atalanta on November 25 before travelling to Brighton on November 28 - if Salah does not develop symptoms, then he will be clear to participate in these matches.
