Rodgers the Dodger

Oh I dunno. It's kinda entertaining. Arn doesn't hate him but he doesn't respect him. Apparently a lot of fans already hate him however a lot of fans don't hate him.

Also Firmino is a quality sign but not quality because he's played out wide. Markovic didn't show up last season but he's a quality sign but both points are moot because he was played out of position. Anyhow, Rodgers is a clown - that point was made several times.

Maybe you should look at what every poll asking if he should be sacked now says? The Echo did one and 90% wanted him sacked. I doubt that Everton fans voted to sack him. The abuse he gets from fans he gets is sad to see because it is pure hate in many cases. It isn't one site, it's every site. Even RAWK have started to allow it and they have never done that before. Long time Liverpool fans abuse him and want him gone. How many fans still respect him? That is a more important question than if he should be sacked because if you don't respect him then it won't matter if the results improve. You just want him gone.

How many fans leave 10-15 minutes early? Even away against United many of the fans left early. That is fans that almost never done that before whatever the result. They want him gone and shows it by leaving early. He won't win those fans back. The fans have also protested about the ticket prices and FSG didn't do more than to freeze the price. The climate at the club isn't exactly good. It is starting to look like it did the final Benitez season and the Hodgson season.

Long time fans lose interest and don't care anymore. They have backed almost every manager all time no matter the result but now when they easy can find out the bullshit he says in the PC then they think that he is a clown, they want him to shut the fuck up. They want him gone.

I dont see him getting sacked. I dont think FSG are smart enough or understand football enough to get where this is going.
We will win a few games now and it will be fine for them.
I think we would need to lose 4 or 5 on the spin for him to get sacked.

We lost to Villa, Hull, Palace and Stoke at the end of last season to lose any chance of Champions league football and STILL they didnt sack him and gave him 100m cash to spend. Now we are 2pts off third place. Why would they sack him.

Because they are convinced by him. They think he's like a, er, cult.

That's cult leader.

So every season were in transition.

He need time you know, every season the same bullshit. He must start to deliver now, not in a month or two because then it will be to late. The time is up. Stop talking and start to deliver good results. He is in his fourth season. The first step would be one step forward from the headless chicken style we play now. A style we played in almost every game the last 15 games or so.

The Liverpool way is the main reason to why we are so far behind United. Moores gets a lot of stick but all he did was that he didn't changed. He stood still and did nothing. He didn't want to the club to be about money. If you want us be The Liverpool Way then we will soon play in the championship.

The Liverpool Way is a big no, no in todays top class football.

You have to be daft to say that The Liverpool Way is the reason we are so far behind Scum. Or at least misinformed. You have a twisted and/or warped version of The Liverpool Way.

We broke the transfer record when we bought Dalglish. We were first movers on loads of different levels.

Steven Gerrard: “We celebrated together and commiserated together. The Liverpool way. Liverpool’s family feel is essential to someone like me who works best in a strong, caring environment.”
Alan Hansen: “I go along with the Liverpool way of thinking, that any goal is a bad goal and you’ve got to make the opposition do something special to get one.”
Kenny Dalglish: “Gentle initiation helped the boys settle in, so it wasn’t too much of a culture shock when they were promoted from the reserves full-time. That was the Liverpool way, building for the future.”
Kenny Dalglish again: “The Liverpool way was giving everything, that was what made Liverpool so formidable.”
Still Kenny Dalglish: “That’s the Liverpool way, the passing-down of club traditions from one generation to the next.”
More Kenny Dalglish: “Humility was an important part of the Liverpool way.”
And Dalglish again: “The Liverpool way was keeping the game nice and simple, just tackling, passing and moving – win it, give it.”

As for David Moores, the 3rd generation silverspoon up the arse, and his approach - who gives a fuck? The guy was a moron! He has NOTHING to do with the Liverpool Way.

You have implemented, with too many others on SCM, a simplistic approach to a very complex issue. You come across as a fundamentalist. One thing I have found is that if you are absolutely 110% certain you, more often than not, need to stop and think again. Very few things in life are just black or white.

It's not complex you will say - as a true fundamentalist - let's examine the evidence:

- We are trying to implement continuity.
- We are far behind in terms of salaries
- We are building a new stadium ei. We actually are in transition
- Our gate revenue is 1/3 of Uniteds - if even.
- So is our general finances compared to City, Chelsea, Arsenal and United.
- We have chosen to build LFC around an Icon (SG) for too many years thus making the transition as unfavorable as possible.
- We are a selling club. The major talent is leaving - That in itself will leave us in transition
- David Moores mismanaged LFC for 15 years. Thinking you can correct that in less is naive.
- You feel free to add whatever you might think is relevant.

Now, the issue here is not if all of the above is correct. It's just to underline that it's complex. We are tinkering and experimenting and the Squad might have been expensive and Rodgers have certainly made his fair share of mistakes. There is no doubt we could have been helped short term if we looked elsewhere this summer.

So we are back to the first statement and boring repetition - please excuse me:
The point is we didnt. We chose to back the manager and we are not QPR or some sort of Disney club. We are Liverpool. We don't kneejerk that decision 5 games in with 7 points and Arse and Scum done away? I would be ashamed if we did - I fucking hope the rest here with a brain feel the same. It has nothing to do with Brendan Rodgers. Our Brand demands more class than that - The Liverpool way demands it.

I will be honest and tell you straight to your face that I find your conclusion narrow-minded, simplistic and even unintelligent. I'm not 110% about any of this by the way.

& No offense.

This fans backed managers since time began before Rodgers chat is pure bullshit Arn, surely you know that?

Thats before we even disect the culture modern day 'long time fans' live in or their ages or anything else

I thought his time was up in the summer and it feels almost cruel watching the inevitable play out. There is not one positive aspect about our play at the moment. From the goalkeeper to the attack we look very poor and it's clear the squad is lacking both direction and motivation. The sooner he is sacked the sooner we can begin to move forward. With the current options available we would be bonkers not to make the change.
