What the hell is a 'more English goalkeeping style'??

It can only be to let soft shots in and flap at crosses

I sincerely hope the club only bought a one way ticket to Naples for Roy

by coach...

As much as Roy is out of his depth, I'm disappointed that the players have reacted this way, if true.

It's all very well us being smug about Hodgson's failure and the player's failure to adopt his methods. I'm sure they'll give Rijkaard some time at first as well. They'll sour on him if things don't work, and as we've seen it won't take long.

If we are getting Rijkaard, it's not some dead certainty it'll work out, and it is a massive risk as well, but we did have to do something.

This had better work out.

Of course it is, but the difference is Hodgson has clearly shown he's past it, too much of a nice man and not really cut out for it at all, especially dealing with overpaid pre-Madonna's, which is more or less a given of the modern game (cf Rooney).

Rijkaard, you can only hope, would command more respect because of where he's coming from and who he is.

If this goes through, i'd start believing that someone at our club pays a lot of attention to what Kewell says....

Kewell says some ortho-doc is very good - he gets signed as a fitness director?

Kewell says Rijkaard is the best manager he has played under.......
Harry Kewell for Director of Football!

I am quite happy that they are so concerned about our and their future that they care møre than picking up money.

If Roy really has restricted Kenny from going to the game then to me it indicates that the players have voiced dissatisfaction to Dalglish, who has then forwarded this onto the new owners. New owners tell Hodgson about the problems and Roy believes that Dalglish is trying to undermine him for his own benefit.

Maybe...

Anyway, I still think the players are acting and playing like cunts, and this is being dismissed as as side issue, when really it should be more prevalent.

Sorry Insig I dont buy that. If they really cared about our future they shouldn't be acting like that.

The suggestion/rumour on Rawk is that Kenny is staying behind to deal with Rijkaard and also both Torres and Gerrard are to meet him in order to convince them to stay.

*fap fap fap*

Rumours about Hodgson going unsurprising given that two of #LFC's senior players are purportedly absolutely fed up with him

Torres and Gerrard? Reina and Torres?

Reina and Torres I reckon, yeah, but I'd hope that nobody was that bothered about Roy getting the boot.

breaking news on here http://lfcglobe.com/ ....................
JOHN HENRY AND OTHER NESV COLLEAGUES WERE INVOLVED IN A MEETING TODAY REGARDING MANAGER ROY HODGSON'S POSITION.

unsure as to how relaible the source is.........

Least exciting breaking news ever. lol

Haha

I'd be glad to see the back of Hodgson asap, but I really hope we don't rush into making a permanent appointment to replace him - particularly someone like Rijkaard who, while he might turn out ace, might equally flounder badly and end up getting us relegated.

If we're going to sack Hodgson now, I'd much rather see Kenny put in temporary charge while a new chief executive is appointed and then given the job of finding our new manager. We want someone who's going to last ten years this time, not someone who's going to last ten games.

Is there more to the fact Dalglish hasn't travelled to Napoli?
Supposedly had a fight with Woy.

Also saying that he is there to bring in FR, and convince Gerrard and Torres to stay.
