Do they make up jobs just to entice you in?
Twice I've seen jobs that are seemingly ideal for me with different agencies which I applied online for and twice I have been called by someone who doesn't handle that particular job and wants to discuss the opportunities they're working on which suit me.
If you push them on the actual job you applied for they will say the other person will be in contact and if you ask the name of the company the position is with they don't know.
It doesn't even make sense that they're contacting you in relation to jobs you didn't express any interest in. So is it just a deliberately obscure ruse to get you onboard?
