If the crowd gave him no reaction or recognition it would really get to him

Unfortunately it's at the bridge so he's likely to be worshipped by those flag waving cunts.

I would prefer that our fans ignore him and cheer for the lads in Red.

....... or just about face and look up into the stands for a minute.

The less we do or say, the better. Obv.he'll get no applause or suchlike, but I don't want us firing him up to try extra hard either.

Yep, let's not do exactly what the media want us to do. Thankfully most of our away fans are similar in mind about such things so hopefully it'll be ok.
best reactions from our players? shake his hand like they do with every chav, with no emotion ... and our fans? Just let him be ... he's not worth it -
I think Gerrard let us know what he felt about Torres earlier in the season when he completely blanked him after scoring against Sunderland.
At the time when it was pointed out a few on here said there was nothing in it and that people were over reacting. Now it seems clear that his own team mates knew he wasn't arsed about being here.

That's my dream for the first time he returns to Anfield. Every single home fan, at the same time, turns their back on him and is silent. Imagine that on TV the world over.

I wonder if they will shake his hand on Sunday?
[/quote]
Yep, can see it already , sky having a gazillion cameras in the tunnel area to catch the reaction, and trying to turn it into something more than it is....
