I'm completely baffled by the negativism toward Lucas. To me, he is the most composed player we have in midfield. Found this in the Lucas thread, seriously who takes the time to make compilations of shit footballers?

I especially love the part about Alonso leaving and 22 year old Lucas becoming a regular starter as if he was the saviour, it really need to be followed up by... and Liverpools league position dropped from 2nd to 7th in just one year.

I was struck looking at the Barnes compilation in another thread by the fact that every single clip was either an assist or a goal. If they'd added his other clubs and Engand it may have stretched to 10 minutes with a goal at the end of every fucking clip.

Even a cursory glance could tell you that at best he is quite slow slight of build not very good in the tackle not very good in the air no real shot on him no quick turn or acceleration, his short passing is OK but not incisive or highly assured the best i can say of him is that he is not a coward and behaves himself well. A passenger.

Not special at anything he does and he doesn't do very much. Strange people.

When a YouTube clip contains footage of sideways passing, you know there's nothing special there.

He's just average at everything, and lacks the physicality and tenacity required to succeed in England.

How people cannot see this is beyond me. RAWK is just another fucked up example of social conformity gone very, very wrong.

The way some people defend him on there is sick.

xavi's lack of pace
mash's missplayed passes

but unfortunately not essien's injury proneness...

I used to defend Lucas cos he worked hard. Coupled with his excellent early season form, I can safely say those mental cunts have made me hate him.

Well the only positive in having these Rawktards as Liverpool fans is the vague, slight possibility of a mass suicide in honour of their deity.

I went through their last 6-7 pages of the Lucas thread and there was nothing that outrageous to post on here.

Right now the majority think he'll be sold, and his silenced critics are coming out.
