Reina - 7
Johnson - 5.5
Agger - 7
Carragher - 7
Aurelio - 6
Gerrard - 7
Benayoun - 4
Mascherano - 7.5
Lucas - 6
Torres - 4
Kuyt - 6.5

Subs

N'Gog - 5.5
Aquilani 5.5

Reina - 7
Johnson - 5.5 (he was a 7.5 up to the OG)
Agger - 7
Carragher - 6 (I am SO fed up with his hoofing)
Aurelio - 6.5
Gerrard - 7
Benayoun - 4
Mascherano - 8
Lucas - 6
Torres - 5
Kuyt - 6

Subs

N'Gog - 4 (did absolutely sweet FA again)
Aquilani 6 (finished the match limping .. hope that is not an injury)

Reina - decent distribution, nothing he could really do about the goals. Aside from that, I feel sorry for him that he has to watch the endure the utter shitness of the rest of the team from such close quarters.

Aurelio - Okay, so not brilliant but a welcome upgrade in quality over Insua who has been struggling quite noticeably recently.

Agger - didn't put a foot wrong. Please stay fit.

Carra - one or two hairy moments and some shit hoofing. Nice cross at the end though.

Johnson - let the team down with two bad mistakes that ended up costing us the game. I felt a little sorry for him as he did look pretty low towards the end. If we had a reliable RB to play in his stead, I'd quite like to see him played at RW - for the team, for his confidence and to give Kuyt a rest.

Yossi - should never start games on the left. I'd sooner play one of our shit fullbacks there and then sub Yossi on later.

Masher - best player on the pitch in the first half and then faded in the second with the rest of the side although not sure if his knock played a part in that. Either way, man of the match.

Lucas - had a decent game.

Kuyt - better than in recent weeks but early days on the road to recovery (if he's on one).

Gerrard - looks well out of sorts and most likely wishing he was elsewhere. I hope he snaps out of it / gets fit / whatever because we really are in need of a Captain Marvel - perhaps now more than ever. Also, why doesn't he ever put his fucking foot through it any more? I miss Gerrard screamers.

Torres - had a couple nice runs and probably should've buried his early chance but all in all, was left too isolated and we can't expect him to beat 4 defenders and score every game.

-----

Aquilani - some nice touches and flicks that seemed very alien to this team and the game he was playing in. That aside, showed he could put his foot in with some good challenges. Encouraging cameo.

N'Gog - wasn't going to do anything with no service, so err.. not much to say.

Degen - one nice run where he again showed a bit of pace, but again... a nothing substitution.

Lucas did well the first half and woeful the second half (though most did to be fair)
The second half was a none event, I can't believe we're that brittle we just went so direct punting 50 yard hopeful balls forward, playing into the hands of their 'hoof' chants. We're a fucking mess.

I don't particularly care what your ratings are R4PM, I was referring to the creation of the thread itself.

Oh.

Should we only do these type of threads when things are going well then?

They don't always pop up after a match as you know, to do it now just adds salt to the wound that is our piss poor season. If you want a rating then I would say right now 7/20 would be a fair shout.

These threads regularly appear after a match. It's almost a given.

You're a bit odd.

That post reminds me of one this tiresome cuntard once posted, funnily enough he had an avatar with red eyes moving around a black mask, good thing you;ve got that little santa hat though otherwise one might easily mistake you for that guy.
Is this a joke too?

He was great in the first half. Maybe I missed some mistakes in the 2nd because I was too busy being utterly fucked off.

I thought he was the major fault for the first goal. Why did he dive into Arshaving 40 yards from his own goal, there was simply no fucking need. It's not the firsttime either, instead of holding his position, standing up and letting Arshavin go, he fucking leaps in, we're turned and fucked.

It's something great defenders like Carragher never do. It was the first, and pretty much the only time, Fabregas got space in the hole. they strecthed us from it, and the goal came. At this level, against quality sides, you simply can't afford to make fucking amateur errors like that. He's got a lot of learning still to do Agger.

Of course it was unfortunate and unlucky that Glenjo bundled it in, but for me it goes back to how they actually got in behind us in the first place. A nothing interchange of play, and Agger gets drawn badly out of position. 1-1.

Fair enough. All I remember was the cross coming in and then ridiculousness following. I wasn't planning on checking the highlights but will take a look to see Agger's part in it.

2 mins 26 secs in mate.

Absolutely no need. Dragged hopelessly out of position, and tries to make up for it by diving in.

Turned, left stranded, 1-1.

Okay, so I've watched it back again and I don't really agree that the finger should be wagging at Agger.

Both Agger and Carra pushed up to make challenges on numerous occasions as you expect all centre backs to do throughout the game. On that particular occasion, Agger got it wrong and was indeed caught out, you're right, but he was caught out knowing that he had cover, cover that should have *never* allowed what followed to happen.

It was just naive defending, and as I've said before - something quality centre backs don't do.

But still, massively unfortunate for it to be bundled in off Johnson, so you could say the whole thing was a fuck-up really.
