Reina - 7 - his distribution was good today. didn't have much of a chance on either goal.

Kelly - 8 - He's a fixture in our 1st 11. He's only going to get better too as he irons out the few kinks in his game. I really like this kid ...

Johnson - 7.5 - much better from GlenJo ... best game in a while

Skrtl - 4 - poor. He's not good enough.

Agger - 6.5 - a solid half before he was substituted.

Spearing - 6.5 - I don't think he adds much but he was all over the pitch, and really did his best. Far better seeing him than Poulsen.

Lucas - 6 - I don't hate the player but he's just not very good. He does win a few balls in the air, and touches the ball an awful lot - but make more use of your passes. Stop playing in slow mo.

Ming - 6.5 - tired at the end but a good game nonetheless, and a well taken goal.

Kuyt - 6.5 - great penalty, and was instrumental in the 1st goal too. It's also his best game in a while.

Maxi - 6 - wasn't at his best but a few nice moves started with him, plus won the peno.

Torres - 7.5 - he's getting into form ... One more game without Gerrard and then we should see him scoring regularly to pull us into the top 10.

If he felt his hamstring it is ok to off before it turns worse.

We don't know the full circumstances. He could have been forced to come off. Or if he did stay on and his illness made him make a costly error he would be ripped to shreds. The greek did an equally fine job in the second half, it was bloody Skrtel who made the mistakes that cost us

Pepe -- Good distribution. Could have done better for the first goal. - 6

Kelly -- Very promising. Good pace, works hard. Defensively solid. Delivers a decent cross as well. - 7
Johnson -- Good game. He was not at fault for any of the goals for once. He was very good going forward. He could have taken a shot on one or two occasions from outside the box - 7
Skrtel -- A liability. He needs to learn how to defend a set piece all over again. It seems he has translated "man marking" very literally. Look at the ball, and keep an eye on the man....for fucks sake - 3
Agger/Kyrgiakos -- We kept the ball better in the first half. Defense and midfield linked better in the first half. Defensively, they both did their tasks -- 7/6

Spearing-- Put himself about, and was quite effective in disrupting the play. We needed his industry, in the absence of Gerrard - 6.

Raul Meireles-- A couple of lazy misplaced balls irked me a bit. A tidy midfield display otherwise and get and extra half a point for the goal. Hope this is the first of many goals for Raul. He clearly is capable of scoring more goals. - 6.5
Lucas Leiva-- Put himself about. Went AWOL on a couple of crucial moments. This tendency to hide, and the tendency to telegraph a pass to the opposition first irritates the hell out of me. - 5.5

Kuyt-- Was involved in both goals. Good peno. Helped out RB ably. Shitty touch and passing though. - 6
Maxi-- Was not one of his better games. Should have scored or set Meireles up in the first half. - 4

Torres-- Was a threat all day. Deserved to score at least a goal - 7

Yeah, apparently the sick note twat felt sick midweek too. I'd drop him for the next game, but he'll only fill the Danish press with shite about how he's moving to a bigger club because we don't appreciate him, despite him being an overrated piece of glass shite.

There's a chance he didn't want to come off, but the management insisted. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for this one.

Quite. It's not like him.

Here's what Kenny had to say
Dalglish added: "He was ill during the week at Blackpool and did well to survive that game. He's got a stomach problem.

"He's not really eaten properly since the Blackpool game so it's a great credit to him that he wanted to play and he did play so well in the first half. I don't think the change was the reason we lost a couple of goals - the bounce of the ball just went against us."

He's always got a fucking problem, he's made of glass, which actually, I don't really have a problem with. I don't really have a problem with his injury record full-stop, but it galls me when he has the audacity to go running to the press when he's not back in the first team after being fit for one game after months out.

I can't see how you would deteriorate so much that he couldn't manage another 45mins.......even half an hour
[/quote]

Or maybe he deserves plaudits for lasting 45 minutes...

I'd give him a 10 for that alone.

When has he done that?

You don't like him for one reason or another. Let's leave it at that...

I don't think any liverpool fan other than KHL would be devastated if we were to sell him. But he is one of the better defenders at our club at this moment, and when fit he should be starting. We can't be keeping him out of the team because he allegedly badmouthed us in the press.

I never said that Julian, and to be fair he'd be in there right now if fit and if it were up to me, I just hate his attitude to the press. He's done it twice now, he did it a couple of weeks ago and it's been regurgitated by the press whenever he's been linked with another club. He was fit for about two weeks and it all started.

He has been starting all games since Kenny took over and also the last few games under Roy. He has hardly been starved of match time when he is fit. So it is strange if he went to the press at this point to whinge. I'd assume it's just good ol mischief mongering by the Danish press. Why are we concerning ourselves with what is being said in the Danish media though?

I really am not convinced Agger has an attitude problem, but he does have a horrible injury problem and i want him sold because of that.

Kudos if he tried to play if he was sick though.

And I hope it's his stomach and not him breaking something.

INDEED

Reina - 7

Kelly - 8
Skittles - 2
Agger - 6
Magic - 7

Spearow - 6
Lucas - 6
Ming - 7
Kuyt - 7
Maxi - 7

Torres - 8

Ming was my MOM. If only we had a proper DM and he could concentrate on doing what he is best at. Was very surprised when he was subbed but he was probably exhausted as he had to do it all in our midfield. Excellent finish too.

Torres was very good also. It's a bit sad he looks too good for our team at times.

Reina 7

Kelly 7
Skrtel 3 (go away please)
Agger 6
Magic 7 (Did look very uncomfortable at times with his left leg when building up from the back though. I would try him at RW as he is excellent going forward.)

Spearing 5
Lucas 5
Ming 7.5
Kuyt 6.5
Maxi 5

Torres 7
