Rafa slams boards. That's what he does. He did it after leaving Valencia and now he did the same to Liverpool.

The scary thing is that he's probably got every good right to do so in both cases. Valencia has declined ever since he left hasn't they and we're certainly not looking any stronger so far either.

*I know that a cash-injection through new owners will probably change most things however.

Considering a large part of the second bit is linked to Rafa, I'm not sure if I agree with the first bit.
it's speculation but many people have said rafa was denied money for a striker, had he been given a striker and that striker have scored even a handful of goals then you could argue we would have come 4th at a canter. we came 7th and missed out on the CL spot by 7 points (two wins and draw) that's not a lot.

He lies about everything else.

Such as?
didn't the board say 20m was spent this summer?
Loads of chairmen and managers come out with questionable shit in the press.

Everyone get off Rafa's back, he gave 1% of his final year's earnings to the HJC so he can wave his wet dick in our general direction if he wants.

When Rafa arrived he allways talked about Shankly and our proud history. Well Rafa here is food for thoughts for you:

"At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters.
Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques."

I'm not totally sure what Benitez would actually have wanted as the CEO and Chairman at Liverpool. He certainly didn't like Rick Parry, and I would say that he was someone who had enough experience to be considered a 'football person'.
A billionaire version of David Moores, probably.
a lesson of 'careful what you wish for' for all the people who wanted shot of moores as they felt he wasn't doing enough or spending enough.
Indeed. Yet people are still happy to pile the blame onto David Moores for selling the club to the Yanks. Grossly unfairly IMO.
Moores himself has publicly agreed that he wouldn't have been able to take the club any further by the time he sold out.

And he absolutely does deserve at least a share of the blame for what's happened since, by failing to do any due diligence on Hicks and taking Gorgeous George's word for it.

What a weird quote to use to make this argument.

I thought that at first, but there is a kind of logic to it. In other words, if they're only there to sign the cheques, there is no need for them to know anything about football.

Exactly my point. Why would they need him if they allready knew the footie. Thhatr was his domain.

Does anyone remember the last time Rafa accused people of knowing nothing about football ?

Well, I see your point now, but it's still a strange quote given the situation we are in. No one has been signing any cheques recently, and the holy trinity of players managers and supporters has been blasphemed with the chief influence at our club being being interest rates, owners, debts, and banks... so it's a little strange.
