Had most of the possession but didn't really do much with it. Looked more solid defensively and I like the hunting in packs to get the ball back.

Mane looks the best out of our players so far. His speed, work-rate and physical strength are an asset defensively as well.
Wijnaldum and Sturridge are playing in their first pre-season game and both are clearly not on the same level of fitness and sharpness as some of their partners (such as Mane) who started the pre-season a few weeks earlier. No worries, it will come. Like Steve Nicol said during the commentary, 2-3 weeks into the season Sturridge would have definitely caught up to that ball by Mane bringing him 1 on 1 with the GK; now he is still a step slow to react. Wijnaldum, the few times he did get the ball, did something really good and sharp with it every time – a pin-point long ball to the right flank or a no-look pass that set up Sturridge chance. Seems like he is going to be a baller.
For Milan, Niang looks by far the best player. Suso barely noticeable.
