pre season - game 1 - mancs

We’re gonna finish bottom with no points. Bottom of the group. 3rd round of the FA cup and 2nd of the league cup.

At least we will be runners up in something. The charity shield.
 
Bailly with a pretty heroic performance, actually – he was everywhere. Clearly wants to make an impression on the new manager. We're super unlucky not to score, but that doesn't matter much in the big picture. Way too early to glean any tactical ideas from the game; Salah and Trent looked sharp, Ox did OK and I missed the first 30 minutes, but apparently Elliot and Fabio played well. All about fitness and giving the new lads a chance to get to know the team.

TAA and Robbo looked like they mean business. Gulf in class between them and the rest of the field.

Nunez will need major bedding in time. He looked exhausted after fifteen minutes.

Bit early to state that last part. The players are exhausted with pre season training and you'll see that fitness wise in the first pre season games.
 
If you start the next game with Pre season. Thats where it all started to fall apart even before the game.

I can't apologize - not yet.
Wait till after we win the treble, and then I'll apologize that my pre season thread cursed us so we'd miss out on the quadruple.
 
I've missed football but not missed the comments from fans after games were we dont win.
The Uruguayan Carroll after Nunez misses a sitter in his first pre season game.

New season but same ignorant fans that dont trust Klopp or our transfer team. Quite insane really.

Not sure where these comments are but I imagine most are tongue in cheek given it is pre season. Chill a little mate!
