Rodgers has apparently decided that Pacheco and Aquilani aren't good enough and Suso, Ibe and McLaughlin aren't ready for first team football.

Agger is carrying some minor knock.

Or, it might just be that we have a big squad and he want's to try and get as many players as possible back in shape.

Or it might be a combination of several different factors.

Or none of us know jack shit and we should just enjoy the game.

Its about getting the players fit for 1st day of the season...hes been playing the youngsters that have been pracising since day one and progressively giving minutes to senior players that joined the squad later. Result doesnt really matter now. We'll see his 1st team for last friendly game i think.
