I see the the other way around mate.

If he wants to challenge for the league, after that city defeat he absolutely must take three points off us.

If he thinks that they'll realistically be top 4 plus maybe get a cup, then he may be much more pragmatic.

He'll also have to rest players at some point, their run of games is horrible.
It will be interesting to see if Rodgers has learnt what pragmatic means. Though it's a difficult word to learn when managing Celtic in the SPL.

Pragmatic vs revenge. Judging by how he has gone on and talk about us when he was managing Celtic, still bitch and moaned about the transfer committee, I'd say the latter.

Funny that I'm more arsed about beating Leicester than I am about Christmas

Defo be the best Xmas present I could get.

Leicester will go all out for the win. They have to.

City away aside, it's the worst possible fixture we could have off the back of the WCC.

A draw wouldn't be a bad result at all and I'd probably take it now if it was on offer.

I can see the midfield rotated after the wcc, with wini (is he now fit), Milner and kieta, coming in. I hope the front 3 don’t rotated for this one

The worst possible Christmas fixture is to face LIVERPOOL right after you got thrashed by City.

There is zero chance he thinks they can win the league.

Trent needs to make it through this game without getting booked. He's one yellow from being suspended.

Hoever, Elliott, Williams, Chirivella and Jones training with the senior team.

Not sure but it looks like Wijnaldum didn't train. So I'm guessing that he won't be available for the Leicester game.

In a way, I prefer a late kick off than an earlier one when we seem collectively to start slowly and disjointedly.
